I hated the game until I got it on PC. 60fps plus being able to use a mouse was a lot more fun. Normally I'm fine with a controller or a mouse, but those constant horse chase gunfights where you have to be super accurate were a pain.

I can't do 30 anymore. It just doesn't feel right. Honestly 60 is starting to feel a little slow. It is fine really, but what's the point of playing a game if it isn't smooth?
At least he can play highly acclaimed Stray on his PS5. If he wants.

I'm guessing you'll try to spin this with something akin to exclusives mostly have a 60fps option but not mention the horrific reduction in resolution that renders the game looking ps4 like in clarity.

You clearly haven't played anything on the PS5 because otherwise you wouldn't have made the PS4 comparison comment. That's akin to me saying back to you, why did you buy the Series X when you could simply play all the new Xbox games on your Xbox One X
The answer is simple. I still have my PS5 because it has games and experiences that I can't find anywhere else. There are also PS5 only exclusives released since launch that you can't play on the PS4. Xbox has yet to release many XSX only exclusives which ironically further begs the question why did you get a Series X when you can play all new Xbox games fine on your X1X
When the day comes where Sony releases all their new PlayStation games day 1 on PC like Xbox, I will go full PCMR. That has always been my stance.

Yeah same especially for last gen games. If it's games that look like UE5 / Matrix / nanite tech demo , then maybe I can push through but for RDR2, it feels so last gen even moreso with the longer loading times.
I'm so used to 160 fps on the PC that 30 fps just kills my urge to play the game even if I wanted to lol

I just spent 2 weeks talking a friend out of getting the S. He has an X delivering in a few days.
Kvally and I are fighting the good fight.
They want to sell the remastered versions just like how later on other non 60 fps supported games like Bloodborne is coming out with a remaster.
I have it on PC and its an absolute tour de force maxed out. I just don't care for it as much due to the gameplay minutiae involved.
