You know, some of the pro-PS4 and anti-X1 users who's been claiming 50% DIFFERENCE DUH...

...am I not misunderstood when I say I don't see them on any of the Playstation-only thread or our Playstation forum? And they are here just to hate on X1? I mean, I'm not saying any banhammer or anything. We have done pretty well with such guys, and of course Xbox fanboys as well, and banning them would be too heavy-handed. But I'm curious if we do have such troll types.

It's just that a few users are not even a PS fan, and is just here to hate on X1. Something that is not very healty to discussion taking place in the forum. That's the impression I've been getting during the last few days with at least two or three very active users. It's not an immediate issue, but it raises some concern.
 
So you're asking whether we have people who like to dump on the X1 but are not fans of the PS4? Probably, yeah. Some PC guys, for instance. If you're asking whether we have people who like to dump on the X1 but aren't a fan of any other platform, I doubt it. People who like to dump usually do it to feel superior about their own choices.

To me, the issue isn't whether someone likes or doesn't like a particular platform. It's whether they are trolling or not. If you think they are, report it, and a mod will take a look. Can't guarantee we'll agree with you, because sometimes what one person perceives as a troll, another perceives as just expressing a negative opinion. A lot depends on context and poster history.
 
Personally I do perceive that two persons are definitely trolling, but I've been here for only a week, so I cannot be sure. I'm watching it myself, but frankly, I was asking if we do have trolls or not.
 
Sure. We try to deal with it as best we can. It helps when members report posts themselves, since it's hard to keep an eye on everything.

How about name names? Why all the secrecy?

I personally am just commenting on the reality I see.. for the products I'm buying (actually have 2 XBO's on pre-order).. but I have no clue if you are referring to me or not.

Um, it's not you. I didn't even go to resolution threads for the last few days. If you care about resolution, I wouldn't mind that, because I know it's noticeable. It doesn't mean most of others, and I just didn't want to call names. In case you might wonder, mods were already aware of the issue and trolls are taken care of. Everything is fine.
