RIP Robin Williams

Rest easy Robin Williams. Time to watch Jumanji again. One of my all time favorite movies.

Shame to hear. Especially that he committed suicide. It's no secret that the guy was going through some problems, but I'd never guess it could get to someone like him. Then again, comedians are known for having depression.

You'd never think someone like him would end up going down that road. But i assume as he got older and his career was winding down, he wasn't able to do what he loved and it took a toll on him. You just never know.

I couldn't believe it when I first read the news. I thought it would turn out to be another social media hoax. RIP Robin Williams.

Didn't want to believe this was true. Seemed like such a great guy. RIP.

Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed, life is harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in threatening world. Doctor says, "Treatment is simple. The great clown Pagliacci is in town. Go see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears."But doctor" He says, "I am Pagliacci."

Stolen shamelessly from The Watchmen and pretty fitting.

Oh no!! Robin was an awesome actor/comedian. RIP my good man hope you bring laughter to everyone on the other side.

It's not just that, but he was losing money in his old age from what I hear. Don't know the specifics, but you look at Nicholas Cage and it could paint an all too familiar picture.

I wish there was a sad clown face button for this.

RIP Robin. I got wind of this news when I was in the theatre of Guardians of the Galaxy and couldn't believe it at first.

He was also a big Zelda fan, his daughter's name is Zelda.

Its a strange thing that a man that brought smiles to the faces of millions of people would go out this way. R.I.P.:(

Dude, divorces are just some of the most financially crippling things I've ever seen in my life.

Especially for males. Man...unless you can prove your Wife is a crackhead, mentally unstable b!tch etc. etc., you are screwed financially. It's no fun being a divorcee, take it from me. The female has the advantage by default. When I was in court for a divorce, the judge asked me how I felt about paying Child support. I stated that Child support is our (my wife and I) responsibility and shouldn't fall on an individual. The judge didn't give a rat's ass.

Jumanji and Mrs. Doubt fire were great movies. Believe it or not, I never saw Good Will Hunting, but now I will.

Yup. In general, the man is screwed. I've heard crazy stores too and that's when the man and wife were pretty equal. Although there are times, it goes the other way. But for that to happen it really has to be lopsided. I know two cases where the woman ended up needing to pay the hubby, since she had a good job and he was probably at half what she was making. So it does happen. It's actually very interesting when you hear the woman telling stories and trying to scramble and make deals with the hubby's side before it goes to court. So now they know how it feels.

As for child support, I'm pretty sure one factor is based on custody/time. So the person with majority duties is the one who gets $$$ support from the other. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if the man still got screwed.

Overall, a weird set of balance. But it goes back to the old days of the man being the big breadwinner while the mom was suzy homemaker. Things have changed a lot, but I don't think the courts have moved as fast as society has. It may get to equity one day, but probably not in our lifetime.

It must suck in No Fault states. I'm not sure if you ever seen any of Christoper Titus' stand-up comedy, but divorce is a huge part of it because he's gone through it. He got accused of being a wife beater and retorted in the act by saying, "The only thing that ever made me want to be a wife beater was being called one."

That being said, I will never marry again. lol
LOL. At my work, there's probably about 20 people I work closely with.... closer to 25 if you include some people who left/fired over the past few years. Off the top of my head for the people who have been married, I think three people are getting divorced now and another 6 or 7 who have already split years ago. And that's for the people I know their marriage history. Possibly add a few more who never told me they divorced. So close to half. My dad always said the divorce rate is around 50% and he's basically spot on. lol
