Super stoked this got announced. Loved the first, and can not wait for this one. Just hope we do not have to wait till fall 2015.

That's a placeholder title right? Other than that I'm ready for Lara's next outing.

Tomb Raider is easily one of my all time favorites, so I couldn't be more excited for this one. Hope it releases for current gen consoles

It is coming out for both current gen consoles, they haven't announced the game for last gen consoles.

I would be shocked if they did not. This is a company that claimed 4 million sales was not enough for the first game.

I still am yet to play a Tomb Raider game believe it or not. This announcement did get me pumped though, so I'll consider this. Depends when it comes out.

Is Lara scarred because of her experience or because she killed like 500 guys in that island? Seriously,TONE DOWN THE GUNPLAY in this new game. Concentrate on exploration and motherf*ck the COD audience you want to attract so badly. That is one of the things that pissed me off to no end with the other game. She keeps mowing down dozens of these guys and she's always panting and acting like she broke a nail. Lara not only never "toughens up" as a character but she keeps getting s*** from her "friends". That's another thing that has to go. That whole entourage that for some reason was around the first game has to go.

I never played a Tomb Raider game until the last one came out for the PS4, and I loved it. You should check it out if your into action/adventure games.

I rarely used guns. Bow and teh Arrow all the way.

I don’t agree. I thought the amount of gunplay was not overly excessive. The pacing of the game was just right in my opinion from the combat to exploration and puzzle solving. I also thought her crew mainly one character in particular giving her grief accurately showed that she was doing so out of fear. They were all scared in a difficult situation and Lara was the one who stepped it up and did everything she had to to get herself and the crew off that island.

I put the new Tomb Raider up there with Uncharted 2. Those are masterpieces of action/adventure gaming done at its best. My only complaint about either one of those games is that at some point it had to end. But I really didn’t want them to. If there are any of you guys out there who haven’t played the new TR reboot I suggest you try it out and see for yourself how all these elements come together to create such a memorable experience. These guys set the bar so high I can only hope this sequel lives up to the greatness of the first game.

The Puzzle solving was pretty weak. I hope they ramp that aspect up in this sequel.

The game with the story was a difficult thing to do. To tell that story but not limit the player was always going to cause contradiction.

Yeah, I'd love to see more in depth puzzles, the kind from old-school TR games that made me scratch my head and spend a long time figuring them out then learning how to get around the area to finish them.

Sorry but I'm an old school Raider and I HATED when the franchise started to add all these goddamn unnecessary characters to serve as comic relief (OOOOO LAAARA THAT'S TOOO DANGERAOUS!). The old Lara only had her old Butler Jeeves and that's all she needed, goddamn it!

Goddamn, the old Lara moved like a goddamn tank. How did we put up with his s***?

Some of what was there was good. The puzzle with the wind was damn cool. But it need it a few more like it in the game instead of shooting zombie samurais.

I do agree with Mua'dib that there could be more exploration and interesting puzzles. The tombs were almost a complete afterthought in the new game.

The Old LARA was already a fully fledged Tomb Raider. That is not the case this time. The first game was the stage, second game is the becoming. Third game should be full on Lara. One thing I do know is they better give me dual pistols from the start in this game.

None of what was there puzzle wise was good. It was all very simple. I want difficult stuff. :D

I am so looking forward to this game. I really should have picked this up for the [HASHTAG]#xbox[/HASHTAG] one, but I was happy with my awesome experience on the Xbox 360. If for some reason they tie the game saves from the [HASHTAG]#xbox[/HASHTAG] one version of TR to the new version, I will have to get the X1 version.

Game was the best looking game on console last gen. I don't know how well it will do if it's a port for the new gen.

What. Go & get the new Tomb raider!

Too many jaggies, motion blur and fog. I bet that is not in game engine.

I know you were joking but honestly? I would kind of dig it if the game looked like these images, especially the last one. I don't know why but I really dig it, already set it as my desktop.
