LMAO! Oh, fuk!I found this interview difficult to masturbate too.

Wait, did I use that wrong..?
As for Nintendo the only game I can think of is Mario x Rabbids. The high bar? Do you have any other examples?
Bayonetta 2 I guess on WiiU. But no one would call that a successful game...and Sega owns the Ip...and Ubisoft owns Rabbids
I read the whole interview with Edi McClurg's voice in place of Mrs. Loftis'.
*pushes back glasses further up and points to the heavens* well, actually SEGA developed a few f-zero and Olympic Games for/with Nintendo...
Sure...for Gamecube and Wii. How is that supporting his claim that MS has a defecit compared to Nintendo? Nintendo has basically been sitting it out on consoles since the Wii collapse in 2010. One good year this year doth not make up for the prior lacklusture 5, nor does one lousy 2017 undo Microsofts previous superior 6.
Generally speaking if MS sat on 80% of its output since 2010 and released them this year...well 2017 would have been awesome, but 2010-2016 would have been barren as 2017...too bad all those games came out i guess.
Just asking theoretically....but could MS revive it if they wanted to? They own the IP, but what about the work that has been done on the game already..? Who owns that?
Just curious about the legality.
Maybe...
Could the existing code have been given to other developers?I heard the IP got moved to a new dev, and they started from scratch. If that’s true, I’d expect to see something at E3 this year.
But I honestly haven’t heard anything in a long time.
Could the existing code have been given to other developers?
I *think* so, but I heard from more than one person that it was being redone entirely, and that we wouldn’t see anything from it for at least 2-3 years....but IIRC that was about 2 years ago, so we’ll see.
Meh, game looked aesthetically bad imo, like a DMC game from 2010, these japoonese emos in video games must stop.
Unless MS sold them or PG the IP no.
Also it ran like arse on Xbox so would need to be massively downgraded to run on switch
Not sure why MS would sell the IP. Especially since they added a couple studios that would be great for that project.
INSIDE GAMING says it is probably a NO. Long story short a developer from Platinum basically stated that the code would have to be dropped and started fresh. He also agreed that the IP ownership would be difficult. Not saying they or the guy is right.
I could imagine Platinum wanting to get the IP but hard to think MS would let it go if for no other reason than to avoid the bad PR
Jason Schreirer thinks its someone getting their wires crossed about Astral Chain
