No no not the last story.Okay. Last story. Last night my friend and I were doing a chapter 3 mission. We had gone and found three epic chests plus two other chest we had found on the islands we were at; so a total of 5 chest were sitting below deck. On our way back to port, another ship started following us. No worries; we actual adjust our sales and outrun most people no problem. After a minute or two we look back and they are still right on us. Evidently they were a going their sales too. 5 chest was just too much to risk getting in a fight, so we decide to head for an outpost that was far away, figuring they would get bored, but they followed us the whole way
We knew we'd only be able to turn in two chests before they caught us, so my buddy steered just past the island and I jumped out with a chest while he kept going. The other ship followed him. My buddy goes around the whole island and I am waiting for him in the water. I climb abored and we do it again. We get in our first 3 chest this way before the other ship realizes what we were doing. They went the other way to try to catch us. So I swim out in the water and get on the side of their ship without them knowing about it. When they start coming up on our ship, I climb up and wreck their day. I didn't kill them, but they both had almost no life and my buddy was able to slip by.
When I respawn, I'm on the ship. Grab another chest and go turn it in. These guys are right on my buddy now and he figures je can't get away from them, so he aims the ship at some rock on the backside of the island and then dives of the ship with the last chest. He slips away under water. The ship crashes and sinks. The guys on the ship start sending the message *Rolls on deck laughing* not realizing that they just wasted a half hour of their time and my buddy and I just handed I'm 5 chests.
This game is a must buy for me after playing the alpha.
Agreed.I can’t wait to see what they do with the Kraken. I’m hoping it will take some serious teamwork to take it down.
Sooooo many possibilities with the world they are creating....
Thanks for that. I just picked up the game plus 12 months of Live Gold for under $100 US. Too bad it doesn't give you the Beta key, though. I was going to give that to a friend, since I was going to go through the insider invite, myself.Cdkeys have this for €39, $48, £34
Through the Microsoft Store, yes.If I pre-order this Thursday is there a chance I could still get into the private beta?
From what I can tell, it's only.for the physical copy.Amazon now has Sea of Thieves pre-order ringing up as $47.99 for Prime members (pretty sure this it's for either disc or digital versions) and this comes with the special promotion stuff, including beta key.
I already preordered through Amazon for the actual disc. I'm going to get them to refund my order with CDKeys.
I'm also pretty sure Best Buy has it for $50.
This game looks beautiful, but what he said at the end of the video, about the world continuing to evolve as the "Golden Age of Piracy has yet to come" makes me feel like the release day version of the game is going to feel half-baked, at least from a first player perspective. I'm getting a Destiny 1 vibe - All the pieces are in place for a great single or multiplayer experience, but it's really just about collecting loot with no coherent single player componentI still feel like I don't even know what this game is.
