Don't be ridiculous.
Bit lost in all this is Tameem has left NT
Working on something VR which is a bit pointless if you work for MS...
Read something else that mentioned he left a while ago, but it's just now being made public.
Would have been great to have the 60 fps mode to compare at launch. But this type of game also isn't responsive heavy which is why I can see them patching it in later down the line.
I’m expecting the game to end up on a cliffhanger, she funds a gun and travels into space to meet a soldier of the future, which is really her dun dun dunnnnnnnn2024 game is 30fps on consoles. What did y'all expect?
I look forward to playing this in VR on PC.
How dare you want options, you savor in those arbitrary colors of artistic intent and suffer from its psychedelic delight of her mental suffering.Looks good visually, I hope you can turn chromatic aberration off though.
Check out the feedback for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. The performance mode is ugly as hell and no one likes it.An option to set a performance mode to get 60fps at the expense of visuals. 30fps is fine for a turn based game like BG3, but for a game with combat that involves timing, 30fps just doesn't feel right. Heck, I don't care if it runs at low res or whatever needs to happen.
I know I'm in the minority when it comes to 30fps, but I know I'm not the only one who it is a show stopper for either.
Hellblade is available in VR on PC, and I'm pretty sure Hellblade 2 will be playable in VR as well since it is using the Unreal Engine (there's a program that easily converts UE games into VR).If Microsoft had a VR presence, this would be a killer title for that.

Hellblade 2 is better off not having an ugly mode option.
There are plenty of games that have very good-looking performance modes lol.Check out the feedback for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. The performance mode is ugly as hell and no one likes it.

FSR 3 will smooth out the rough spots.Nah that's this.

(Think it will be fine. Just the standard less detail on the characters)
It is a great little machine.I have to say, I know that @menace-uk- is very particular and has very strong opinions. If he is happy with his Series S, to me that means the Series S is a pretty good console.

I assume the team behind Hellblade 2 don't want their game to look like butt in 60fps mode. It's their game, their vision. People can choose to buy it or choose not to buy it. But they shouldn't change their vision.Nobody that really likes performance mode complains about it. I mean, I know I'm turning down the visuals on purpose. Complaining about how it looks isn't fair. Most games honestly look fine in perf mode. In the latest God Of War I doubt I could tell the difference. I'm sure if I took side by side shots I would see it, but playing is fine.
Some people don't get bothered by the 30fps, well, I don't get bothered by a little resolution and quality downgrade. I'd much rather have smooth combat, especially for games that have timing involved.

If gamers want the best possible performance for PS and Xbox games, get a PC. If gamers don't like a developers vision for a game, don't buy games from that developer.
Redfall added 60fps because that was their intent, to have the game available at 60fps. Starfield won't get 30fps, because their vision was at 30fps on console to retain their vision. It remains to be seen if they will add a 60 fps mode or not like Redfall or stay 30 fps like Starfield.
Once we see the PC specs, we will know and can gauge if it's possible or not.
I didn’t even think about that. I need to start building a PC.Hellblade is available in VR on PC, and I'm pretty sure Hellblade 2 will be playable in VR as well since it is using the Unreal Engine (there's a program that easily converts UE games into VR).

Have it been that way for cdpr?So console vision and PC vision are different even though they are the same game?
Might as well cap on PC too if that is what they want

On console, they would have to REDUCE their graphical vision in order to obtain 60fps. They didn't want to reduce their vision of the graphics. With PC, they are able to do 60fps AND keep their graphical vision (and improve their graphical vision). So console vision and PC vision are different even though they are the same game?

Essentially, they didn't want their game to look like Rise of the Ronin to get it to run at 60fps on console.
