Shoddy Dualshock 4 build quality

The battery is completely atrocious. I have played my PS4 a fraction the time I have played my X1 and I have charged my DS4 sooooooooo many more times.

The Wii U Pro controller battery laughs at every other wireless controller's battery.

The rubber on the thumb sticks of my DS4 controllers are still going strong. I don't play the PS4 nearly as much as my X1 though. One of my DS4 controllers has sticky triggers. And yeah, the battery life on the DS4 is an absolute joke. I can't stand it. Great improvement by Sony this gen but still a lot of flaws and catching up to do to match the perfection of Xbox controllers.

Thats the truth. I dont even know if I have charged it yet and I got it with the Mario Kart Bundle the day it came out back in may.

You take the battery of the Wii U Pro, the bumpers/triggers of the DS4, and the stick/button layout of the X1 and mash them into one controller it would pretty much be the ultimate controller for me.

I swear I'd pay $100 or more for a 360 controller that works for the PS4. That was my all time favorite controller. Not sure how the xbox one compares since I've never used one, but yeah.

To me, it feels fairly solid, but I have noticed some wear on the bumpers, they definitely don't feel as good as when I bought it. The x1 controller to the touch feels cheaper, but is still more solid as a controller to me thus far.

What I don't get is why is the controller equipped with a nightlight! I can't played games in the dark if I have a nightlight always turned on two feet from my face! :D

I mean, it really is a nitpick, but that light does drive me nuts.

For the record the light up Xbox logo shining in my face isnt much better.

Only thing I like about the PS4's controller better is the thumbsticks. Not their placement, but they aren't as loose. Makes a world of difference. I'm more accurate for sure.

(I'm not sure if I've said this before in this thread. Should have checked before I posted. If so, sorry!)
