I'm doing some tweaking to the site trying to increase the speed. Let me know if you guys see improvements. I'm on my iPad and I may not be able to see any improvements until tomorrow. aceattorney and everyone else.

Nice. I've noticed lately that its been kinda slow to load new pages, though I've kinda attributed it to the sh!tty Internet at work...

I'm on the iPad right now and things are loading quick smoothly for me.

Clicked on random threads. Some loaded just under 2 seconds, others took up to four seconds. Thanks for trying to get the speed up. Makes for a much more quality experience.

So far noticing it about the same as yesterday. I didn't think it was really all that slow yesterday anyway, but at least it's not slowing down.

It's faster for me. I'm using Firefox so if it's faster in Firefox that's a good sign. It wasn't really running slow for me either. I did see a rather large increase in speed on my iPad. Still tweaking but I do see improvements.

Add firebug to your Firefox browser. When it's installed, right click on a page and select 'Inspect Element with Firebug'. Then click on Net and enable. Now when you refresh that page, you can see the response in milliseconds. I use this all time for web content releases in work.

Continued problems with the site performance. Looks like Hissatsu is as well, and illiniguy has confirmed performance issues too. Not only have I been getting this today:

"Service Temporarily Unavailable The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later."

But that is on multiple computers, over different internet providers and even on my iPhone. Performance has been an issue for the past couple months, not limited to the above. Sometimes posts get frozen and you have to hit submit again (with the little black box in the upper right corner with the progress dots in it), duplicate posts.

Just bringing this to your attention.

There were some server issues earlier. They seem to be cleared. Looking into upgrading the servers and seeing determining if it's viable right now.

Remember, there are many of us willing to pay a premium or subscriber fee to help offset costs of the hosting.

I'd throw ya a bone for a premium fee as long as it's not too much.

$1,000,000!

Yeah, I've noticed it was slow early today. But I think it's a lot faster right now, which is good.

The site has been slow on my iPad lately. On my PC it's super fast and I've never encountered any slowdowns what so ever.

For some reason I have to close window on iPad and open a new one from time to time. Whenever it hangs, I do it and it loads normally.

I'll third that, that's the biggest problem I have, though its on my iPhone. That and the site speed has been hit and miss.

I think it has to do with the poor memory management of Safari. When I use an alternate browser, I forgot its name, I don't have loading issues. The memory management is soo poor in Safari that whenever I have two tabs open, and switch between them, the page always reloads.

That could very well be it. I always thought it was a cheap way for the phone companies to get you to use more data.

It wasn't like that in iOS 6. When iOS 7 came out multiple tabs are automatic reloads. On the iPhone it's not as bad at managing memory.
