So, MS decided to flip game cases?

This my friends, is innovation. Welcome to the next generation.

I well literally never have one of these cases in my house.

That's gonna be weird.

I think I prefer this style. I always hold the case in my left hand and remove it with my right, but the right side of the case is always flimsy and unsupported. Now, the left side will be completely supported by my left hand. Bring it on!

My gamestop wouldn't let me pick mine up. Claiming they are street dated and I work THERE!! Lol

Gameinformer ran a story about Madden 25's game disk is now on the inside left of the case rather than the inside right. There are pics of CoD: Ghosts for the Xbox One showing the same thing. Did MS really switch the game to the left side? This is a total non-issue but it is a weird decision. I guess they want to be different?!!?!

Seen this when i got my harden edition a couple of weeks ago! I think its awesome.

I always liked it on the right. It seemed like that was how you held the case, so the disc had less odds of falling off the little spindle thing in a way if you slammed it down on a table per se?

I got my Xbox one ghosts on Nov. 8 and I did post on this board they flipped the sides
why? I really do not care

GameStop got them in on the 5th

Odd choice but fine. I'm guessing the cases are smaller than 360 ones? If so my stand won't be any good for them. Shall have to clear out some of my BD cabinet.

It makes sense.

Disc is on left side just as the disc drive on the Xbox One is on the front left side. So basically with one hand (your left) you can both remove the disc from the case and inserted in the console. Using only one hand. You will save a few milliseconds in the processes!

Next Gen is finally here!!!

Woo hoo baby!
LOL. Or probably just a marketing move. Game discs are historically always on the right so gamer's eyes make a bee-line to it right away.

By making it left, gamers will now stare at Adrian Peterson Ultimate Team DLC first. Expect that righthand side to have various promotional leaflets hoping a gamer notices it and buys it.

Edit: Oh crap. Yeah, it's an upside down pic. LOL. Right handed discs saved.

I really wish you all could see all the beautiful f*cks I don't give flying in perfect formation...

I agree that this looks minor but it will crease the the cover if they use the same eco cheap cases. Many of my games have a disc imprint worn onto the back cover. Unnecessary change too

Not a game changer but why do this? Just to drive people crazy. I know it'll take some getting used to for me.

Maybe that's the point. Maybe this is a sneaky way to make people embrace digital games.
