Recentemente Sony ha rinnovato diversi marchi, compresi quelli Bloodborne e SOCOM, senza però annunciare piani specifici per utilizzarli.

For the SOCOM series the matter becomes more complicated, because a new title hasn't been released for years now (the last one dates back to the PS3 era). That Sony wants to revitalize the franchise? After all, in recent months there has been talk of a greater presence in the world of live services for exclusive PlayStation titles and what better series than SOCOM to create a proprietary Call of Duty: Warzone?

Would be great if they did.

But live service, nah!! Live service sucks and just ruins games.

If they can give us the traditional SOCOM that we all know and love...AND...also over a live service game (which wouldn't interest me), that works for me.

True. Let's make a REAL Socom happen. I feel like we haven't been getting any good new shooters lately. COD and BF are stale right now IMO. I am interested in trying out Six Days, and maybe Crossfire X. But I think now is a good time to see some SOCOM.

Please let SOCOM die, the series died with SOCOM 3 IMO. SOCOM 1 (The best one) and SOCOM 2 ( runner up) were the only great games in the series. I was as hardcore as hardcore got with SOCOM back in the day, played on Socombattles.com and Gamebattles.com for years and was in many top clans on those sites.

Unless it's a SOCOM 1 or SOCOM 2 remaster, I am totally uninterested.

If they do a full reboot it could be good.

Agree, but with a true reboot they could do anything. They would basically just be using the franchise name and borrowing some of the same elements.

Well Sony has already said they want more live service games, and bringing back SOCOM would be a perfect choice for that. I just highly doubt it would be a game that real SOCOM vets would like.
