Sony Gamescom 2014 Conference Thread

The Order looks spectacular as always, Bloodborne looks great and I'm loving the art style, The Wild looks really cool and I love the concept behind it. I thought it was a great show overall, they had something for everyone really.

Not trying to start a riot, but am I the only one getting a little tired of these games trying to be super artsy?

I thought that was a great show. The Order and Bloodborne's trailers were really epic. LBP 3 and InFamous DLC looked good. Tearaway Unfolded looks really cool, WILD looks very interesting. RIME looked beautiful and Driveclub phwoar. The other indies looked cool but I am not on Until Dawn.

Damn The Tomorrow Children is incredible looking! I guess I am catching a replay, I just opened the stream and this is the first thing I have seen

Bloodborne looks amazing. I was blown away.

The Order looks real good, too.
Pass on Drive Club.
Little Big Planet 3, probably as a gift for Christmas, or something.
inFamous: First Light. Oh hell yeah.

Bloodborne visually looks good, but too little game-play in the trailer. Not convinced yet.

Honestly, I haven't seen any game that make me wanna go out & get a PS4.

There are some games that seems good, but not one blown me away so far.

To be fair, I feel mostly same about X1 games, except TR. Before today, I was pretty set on PC only....

But the night is still young. Lets see whats installed for us at Gamescom to come.

Huge fan of Heavenly Sword, so to me, Hellblade were probably the more interesting new game-announcement on Sony conference. :)
A side-note, I tought it were kind of funny with the Shadow of Mordor trailer right afterwards - because alot of the trailerstuff shown allmost seemed to have copies of various Heavenly Sword-cutscenes, with - a very similar looking/saying characther to King Bohan saying the exact same thing as he did in Heavenly Sword. :-P

- Wild also looked really cool.. :-/ I figure it's some kind of upgraded mount & blade-like game..
- That communist-themed sci-fi trailer also looked abit interesting... QGames can do both garbage, and fantastic stuff..

I lost the connection to the stream during firmware 2.0 announcements, right when they started talking about simulating online oncouch coop-simulation via PSNow, new share functionality.
Didn't get the stream back until 5-6 minutes later, when I switched to Eurogamer, so lost most of the details, and don't know that much about it.
But it sounded like a pretty cool feature.

Solid show from Sony today. I'm really excited for The Order: 1886, DriveClub, LittleBigPlanet 3, and Bloodborne. Keep the games coming.

I was not blown away. Bloodborne looked good, and the Wild could be interesting depending on its context and set up. However, there is still not much that rally interests me on this platform. Since Launch there has only been 2 new games announced that interest me, one of them yesterday. Not great...not great at all.

Of most interest for me was Wild, Hellblade and of course Rime. So many great games coming, really a much better showing than I expected for Gamescon.

Wild looks very interesting, Bloodborne (love the Souls games), Hellblade (I did enjoy Heavenly sword sow will keep an eye on this one), Infamous: first light this along LittleBigPlanet 3 is a sure buy for me.

The Order is still set for February, right? I'm disappointed there is no multiplayer to speak of but I'm still looking forward to its release.

Awww man, as far as I can tell Galak-Z didn't make it to Sony's conference. I really hope that game is not delayed. Its set to release by the end of summer so there is still time.

It's a little strange seeing Sony dominate their competitors in both hardware sold and future software releases. This was an amazing show. The snowball looks to be getting bigger.

I found Sony's Gamescom to be even better than its E3. The pacing was excellent and they showed a lot more new titles.

Whats bad is that I thought Microsoft had a solid show. But Sony is really knocking it out of the park.

How did they get Michel Ancel to do an exclusive? Looks incredible as all his games have.

Yeah Wild looks like it could be an incredible experience, I love the concept behind it.

publish it? i'm sure when he pitched the idea to other publishers, they all gave him a crazy look.
