Gays don't want gay history month, and blacks don't want black history month. It comes off as "special treament" and is more insulting than honoring.
On the local late night news last night (which I rarely watch but I stayed up because I wanted to watch the Tonight Show) they had a story about a "protest" at a local city school. Apparently they usually have some kind of assembly/event for Black History month and because of whatever they were pushing it back, so a lot of the students (from the video they showed they were all black students) protested during the last period of the school day by staying in the halls and causing a scene. Seems like they wanted it.Gays don't want gay history month, and blacks don't want black history month. It comes off as "special treament" and is more insulting than honoring.
Sounds like black gay talk to me...
Got anything you want to share with the group?
Not sure how you could stretch that out into a month. Maybe an hour...Even though I'm sure it's pretty exciting HELLRAISER , no one wants to hear about your sexual history for a month.
Are you talking about the Macy's parade? Is a day of dancing flamboyantly on parade floats in assless leather chaps not enough?
Political rallies happen way more often than that.Is a day of dancing flamboyantly on parade floats in assless leather chaps not enough?
Gladly.Actually if it was a paid holiday from work then I'd be all for it lol..
Honestly, this is becoming a bit of a stereotype in my opinion. Gay people I know are pretty mild mannered and I've never seen them walk down Chicago in a thong. I think the ones that do are essentially the type of people you see on the Walmart site with all the crazies on there.I have no problem with gay people.. But is it to much for them to just act normal instead of hey look at me on this float, im gay and vibrant.. Eventually it'll happen as this is today's America. Actually if it was a paid holiday from work then I'd be all for it lol..
