Since people can't seem to keep threads civil, and keep them copacetic in certain forums, we've taken steps and forum banned members from the Xbox forums and the PlayStation forums. You'll know who you are as you won't be able to reply to a thread. This was done for the betterment of the forums. There have been too many complaints across the board about multiple members on both "sides." I hope everyone understands. I'm trying to make these forums as inviting as possible. With constant back and fourths of nonsense measures had to be taken.

That's good. I know job isn't easy when it comes to that issue.

I hope this does not 'silo' the community too much and only used in extreme cases.

Extreme cases. Pretty much every single reported post was centered around the forum members. It's not permanent. But I don't have high hopes for the posting styles to change much from them. It's not like they are bad forum members. It just makes the rest of the forms difficult for the other members. It had to be put to a stop.

Thanks. This is one of the only gaming communities I've stuck with throughout the years, and the trolling of certain members had reached an all time high and was really making this place unbearable even with the ignore feature being used.
 
Oh praise the heavens, I'm not forum banned.
 
Three were banned from posting in the Xbox forums. Two were banned from posting in the PS forums. You can probably guess.

Thank you, Plainview. It makes the forum more readable, and it also makes the mods' jobs easier. Otherwise we have to track individual threads, read all the console war nonsense, and thread ban people, only to have them pop up in another thread. This makes things a lot simpler.
 
So - silly question - what does it mean when you're thread banned from this thread? :D :D :D :D

We probably shouldn't name drop and aggro those who are banned from each section in said section either.
 
I was hoping for something like this to happen. I understand so much console bickering in the multi plat forum, but in the console specific forums i stopped going there because it carried over so much.
 
Nice, hopefully don't have to read flynn s***ting on everything naughty dog or sony from now on.
