I'm sure there's a bunch of people who will be affected by this and get relief. Feel free to ask questions about it. I have some that I can't seem to find an answer to. Is it forgiving loans from 2021 and earlier? Can loans taken out in 2022 be forgiven? Is there a cutoff date for what student loans are forgiven?

Since I'm back in school, I just paid out of pocket rather than take out a loan. I have been approved for loans, but decided against it for first semester. Next semester is coming up, and if it can be forgiven, I'd take out a loan.

I think the application process is still being put together? My understanding is people have until the end of the year to apply?

I think some others might auto-qualify and they'll be notified.

It'll be some relief for me. I got into about 40k for mine 2 year degree and other classes not quite getting to 4 year. I regret trying college and feel it was a mistake.

I know some who are getting emails saying they qualify and don’t need to do anything. If I collect more info I’ll drop it here…

I think there’s a site up now to help, heard it’s in beta, so there may be issues that come up, but I dono

Cool. I was so hoping that 50k blanket cancelation would happen and I'd be off the hook completely, but this will help.

Also, everyone should be wary of Scammers trying to step in like evil middlemen to handle things.
