The 2017/2018 NBA Season Thread

Celtics got three ball happy and chucked the game away. They overachieved and the inexperience finally caught up to them. The nba will do everything to have another golden state vs Cleveland matchup.

@TD sweating. Good luck sir.

Oh ya. I knew Lebron would get it done when it was that close. His greatness is undeniable. Always been a supporter even if I crack jokes from time to time. I'm okay with the result, the Celts likely weren't beating Golden State or Houston.

Yep. Unfortunately we all know how this season ends. Another GS title.

Maybe Houston can win though with Paul hobbled, I doubt it.

I feel good for Jeff Green. Going from open heart surgery to playing well in a huge game is amazing.

I don't know man. Iggy always played phenomenal defense on LeBron in the Finals. If he's out, I could see LeBron going supernova for 6 or 7 (more?) games.

Would not be surprised if LeBron somehow gets another title and leave the media wondering what he’s doing next all season.

This game is a clear example of why D'Antoni has never won s***. There is no adjustment , no plan B.

1992/93 season Jordans Bulls win 57 games.

Jordan retires.

1993/94 season Pippin's Bulls win 55 games.

2017/18 LeBron James Cavs win 50 games.

LeBron leaves.

How many wins will the 2018/19 Cavs get next year?

Fourteen. And LeBron will go somewhere else, start another super team, and keep on piling up stats and rarely winning a title - it's amazing how bad the East has been, and how much worse the teams that have knocked the Bronnies out of the playoffs are than the few teams that knocked the Flaming Jordans out (at least, excluding his rookie season when the Bucks beat them).

Just stop. MJ is the best ever. No doubting LBJ is one of the best ever, but best ever that is just false no matter how you try to spin it.

So you think the Cavs are going to win 49 games next year?

Bold prediction Cotton. Let's see how it plays out.

The comparison doesn't really work as the Cavs aren't going to win the title

Hard to win the title when you play against the greatest team in NBA history with a bunch of scrubs.

Jordan never did that.

Although LeBron did beat a 73 win team in seven games a few years back.

LeBron James is unarguably better than Jordan. The debate is ending. He is the GOAT.

You are aware Jordan has a 1- 9 playoff record without Pippen right? LeBron takes garbage to the Finals. Jordan took garbage to the lottery/1st round exits.

Jordan played on teams loaded with talent and was coached by one if the best coaches in all of sports.

Lebron is a better scorer. A better passer. A better rebounder. A better defender. A better teammate. A better person.

He's the best basketball player of all time.
