The 90's, the last great decade?

Just watched all this last night. I enjoyed it brought back some memories and a few things I did not remember. Still listen to a lot of 90's music from rock to rap.

Born in 1985 so not much in the 80s for me but I love the music. The 90s though man I miss those days. Might just be childhood in general but everything was great.

I was born in 83'. Yep the movies and the music were great in the 90's. And when 56K modems started and the internet age and so on. Good times. Only thing I wish they would have brought up on the show was video games and consoles a little. Gaming got bigger in the 90's.

Also the tv shows of the 90's. X-Files, Seinfeld, Friends, Home Improvement, Fresh Prince, NY Undercover, Boy Meets World, Drew Carey Show, and the cartoons like Batman, Spider-man, and X-Men that came on Fox.

Today marks the end of an era that started in the 90s for me... Jeter's last All Star game. Not a huge baseball fan anymore, but Jeter has been the face of baseball for me for my entire life being born in 1990.

Entertaining All-Star game so far. Jeter hitting a double in his first at bat and going 2-2 in the game. Also his Re2pect commercial is great saw it for the first time during the game.

Why do we not have a MLB thread here?

The 90's were an amazing time to be a kid. I don't think there is any bias to it. If i grew up during a different period i think i'd still be able to appreciate how good it was. Between sports, music, gaming, technology, TV shows and cartoons there was always something special happening. Especially the cartoons. When i have kids i'm not even letting them watch the trash they put on Nickelodeon these days.

Definitely a good game. Would have been cool to see him get MVP, but while he had a good game, I don't think he should get it. Looking forward to watching Jeter's last game in Yankee stadium. That should be quite the show.

Was a good game. Yeah would have been cool if Jeter got MVP in his last, but Trout deserved it. Jeter did break a record being the oldest player (age 40) ever to have a multi-hit game in the All-Star game. Also what was up with Puig he had 0 HR's in the derby and went 0-3 with 3 strikeouts in the game... wow.

Haha, yeah he has had a rough couple of nights. Trout did great though. Watching him kind of makes me a little depressed though, like what am I doing with my life. He's only 23 and has already been in 3 All Star Games and is the MVP in his 3rd. Crazy.

90s sure were great, especially the early 90s.....
