I was watching a comparison video between FH5 and Motorfest and the vehicle damage is laughable. The game also looks outstanding at times, then terrible at others.

I will say that the setting of Hawaii is an awesome choice. Overall it's good for FH5 to have some competition to push them a bit.

So after 10-11 hours I'm over this game.

I forced myself through the 5 hour trial. I had more fun flying and doing stunts than racing. It's better with a wheel at least. I still want it eventually, but when it's around $20 just to drive around. There's nothing that hooks me to want to complete any racing events, just like the previous games.

Glad I didn't buy it yet. Was about to. If you don't like a racing game, I know I won't.
My biggest issues are the cars all feel the same. The new handling model is definitely a step up, but has no nuance to give different cars identity.

Locking fast travel behind 10 playlist completions is dumb.

The races all feel the same. Doesn't matter if you do a street race or an off road race, even the boat race felt the same.

And I swear the traffic is designed to make you crash.

Also seems like Ubisoft want you to grind. Playlist challenges don't unlock until after that playlist is completed.

Worst thing of all. 600 cars but you are forced to use a specific vehicle to complete playlist races. Why can't I use my own American car in the American Car playlist? So silly.

As the series' third outing The Crew Motorfest hands in a solid 60fps experience on PS5 and Series X consoles. The open world design is in the same mould as Forza Horizon, and translates well to each. However the result on the 4TF Series S console isn't up to the same standard, where all gameplay is fixed at 30fps - with issues in frame pacing and tearing to boot. Tom investigates the quality of each version.
