Think will start to upgrade intelligence also, need some more magic resistance. Around 70 % weight and moves very quick for using heavy armor (upgraded vitality). Starting to think I should join a covenant, but have yet to decide between Way of the blue or Heirs of the sun.
I'm Heirs of the Sun. I keep getting pulled into PvP in the first area of Pharos Doors, just past the bonfire. I'm not sure how I'm getting pulled in, but it only started when I joined that covenant.
Ah gets pulled in by the rat king covenant, the once that joined the rat king covenant can pull players in at least at two locations as I have noticed: one is Door of Pharos and the other is the grave of saints.
I think I will join Heirs of Sun since I read that the rewards are very useful.

Ah. Interesting. I might join that Covenant for a bit of fun so.
Yeah, the Heirs get a Sun Sword with twenty token offerings that scales A with dex and A with str
Me wants that....
If I leave the Heirs, are my token offerings kept if I join back? If I'd offered 5 tokens, left to join the Rat King, and came back, so I still have the previous 5 offerings in my favor?
Yep. Both the Sun Sword and Sun Spear are great at rank 2 and 3 of that Covenant. The sun sword has to be leveled up to around +6 to start seeing it as a good weapon though, but its made even better by infusion. I honestly thought the sword would be infused from the start with either fire or lightning, but that's not the case unfortunately.
Well I did read that you do not lose progress if you join another covenant, but have yet to test this myself.
Also don`t seem to be a sin either to change covenant (if I remember correct was a sin in Dark souls 1 to chance ?)
Sweet. I'll have no problem changing so. Yes, it was a sin in DS1 to change convents. There is no restriction at all in DS2 (a nice improvement in my opinion).
I was reading about the Sun Sword... apparently it doesn't scale well with infusion.
INT 3 (lol) and Faith 8.I don't know. I got mine to +10 and infused it with fire damage on my cleric, and it was hitting pretty hard. Depends on how high your INT and FTH is. Raw infusion might be a good option as well depending on how high your STR is.
I keep saying to myself "I get pissed off too bad playing this, I am going to skip a week and come back". That doesn't last, I keep playing it even though I scream and curse at the screen for the most part. DS2 has made me alot madder than the first. Things are a little more "cheap" in DS2 in my opinion. Anyway, I am at the EArthen Peak looking for the lightning spear miracle....it would be nice to double my count. I am having trouble finding it though.
i was thrilled to join the Sunbro Covenant. i am finally home. Solaire would be proud

Have you come across Mild Mannered Pate yet ? once you open his door from the other side you drop down to the left ( I think it is) in to a pillared area and it is in a chest.
i haven't found him yet.

Just realized I need the Old Firekeepers in order to respec with the soul vessel. I killed them for Effigies awhile back. Is it possible to resurrect them from a gravestone ? Not a big deal if I can't as I'm quite happy with my build.
you slaughtered some old ladies? all they wanted to do was make a damn quilt. Serves you right
The one DLC I would buy without question for this game would be a co-op dungeon (or multiple dungeon). Something that would be almost impossible to complete solo, and even with 2 other people often result in death. I like co-op but for the majority of the content the either the host or boss dies withing 30 seconds, and non-boss areas become fairly trivial with 1 or 2 others.
I'd love to see a covenant like pilgrims of the dark (which as three separate single player challenges) but geared for three man teams.
Iron Keep is awesome for farming souls. I just lost 30,000 of them and ain't even mad Is there only one bonfire in Iron Keep ( Belfry Sol excluded) ?
It has three actually, not counting Belfry Sol.
