Hate still exists simply because people choose to let themselves be driven be by their insecurities and fears. The KKK/Nazi's/Alt-Right are the physical manifestation of those insecurities and fears, the only choice for decent human being is to oppose their ideologies.

One thing I’ve noticed today on social media. Everyone backing Trump and calling out the players and saying they agree the players should be kicked off the team are 100% white. Hmmmm.

Actually even though I understand their cause, I can't really get behind protesting the anthem and/or the flag. I hate Trump, but the flag is not Trump. This great country will survive this horrible orange a-hole. Of course people have the right to do it and I'm not getting triggered over it.
My main concern is that Trump isn’t worrying about things that matter. Stop belittling North Korea on a public platform, acknowledge Puerto Rico being devastated, and recognize that individuals should be able to receive medical attention that they deserve.

This thread exist because what the person who is in power, for the time being, is doing, cannot become normal. We cannot let people become comfortable with his actions. He is an awful person who is bringing the country down with his racism, his childish actions, his lack of intellect, and his pandering to the worst of our country.

There's no reason to apologize. I think a lot of people are thankful that you aren't. Especially with your cowardly approach of responding to people, then basically saying you're gonna go run away and hide and not read or respond to this topic again. There's not much else do to until 2018 when I plan to do as much as I can to get people out to vote. The biggest tragedy from 2016 was that the majority didn't vote. When a large group of people stay silent, they let a small, crazy group take over.
I would actually give Trump credit if he did anything positive. The stock market has nothing to do with him. It was on the exact same upward trajectory since 2009 after the recession. His BS speeches about "better deals" are just empty rhetoric. He has clamped down on illegal immigration which makes the racists and authoritarians happy. That's done nothing to actually fix the problem. The guy has actually been useless so far. He's got his party as the majority and still has been unable to pass any legislation.
The health care bill they are trying to pass is a big blow the working class types struggling to get by. His tax plan sounds a lot like more tax cuts for the rich (have to see what comes out of that but I don't have high hopes).

I'd have more respect for Brady if he would openly support Trump instead of trying to play of middle and pretending that maybe he doesn't .
