Off to the Auto show with my dad.

Any requests for pictures? Cybertruck will be there.

I kind of want to do the super/hypercar bit first and then muscle cars etc and look at actual manufacturer vehicles.

Both me and my father are pretty much totally OFF EV's at this point, gonna be interesting to see what's on offer.

But also just a nice trip into Toronto and we have other stuff planned as far as nice meals and beers etc.

Have a great day everyone! Imagine there's a Caterham Super 7 there?

Edit: something I do for whatever reason is pick the most comfortable seat in a reasonably priced car. I will bring my verdict later. In the past it's been the Qashqui. Gotta be honest about this stuff!

With the Cybertruck rusting in the rain, I lost all interest.

Well for what it's worth I'm curious if seeing the displays affected or added to what you think of EVS?
Not sure what you mean.

We barely got into any cars because parents like their kids to go in there and just hang out forever while we peak inside and say stuff like "looks kinda cool, might be comfy"

My dad thinks they should have a "no kids" day at the autoshow ahhahaha. Not sure they can pull that off.

Yeah it just wasn't great really. This EV SUV s*** is bumming me out. I'm not even against EV's at all, it's just that every car is the the same. An EV or PHEV SUV.........

It's boring.

I think he's going to look for a used Subaru Outback, but who knows?

I was just thinking the display models would have brochures or presenters with the latest info or updates on the technology
Well, I did talk to a Kia guy.

There was a Kia EV9, proudly displaying "up to 5000 pounds towing capacity"

Gigantic EV. Which weighs 5700 pounds itselft.

I'm not sure how an F150 performs weight vs towing capacity, but just thought it funny that you shouldn't try to tow a Kia EV9 in a Kia EV9.

Yeah, something has to change. But for right now it seems like go a few years old and used.

LOL well okay I guess it was a really s***ty and car show sorry I asked.

I haven't been to a car show in a long time but the ones in Detroit would often have reps hanging around. It wasn't just super nice of cars sitting around unattended
It's not like that anymore unfortunately.

99% EV SUV's will suck the life out of anyone that likes to feel the car on tarmac.

And Rep's? No. These guys have a sweet gig and they're nice people, but they are not any more knowledgable than you or I am. They just got the job and have the lanyard around their neck etc.

I sound really upset?edit this part: I mean, do I sound upset? I could use an outsiders opinion on that. I'm not upset at all but for all I know I come across like I am. Thanks!

Well, maybe just disappointed in the show? I was wondering if it was at least informative or contributed to opinions in cars at the show; guess not.
