Punisher is always an interesting one to adapt. He has a cast of enemies you coul easily put against him, but you could just as easily make your own original characters and not really break the whole immersion of the Punisher.
Personally, I always wanted to see the origin story of Punisher brought to life. Where he fought in Vietnam (or the Iraq War if you want it modern) where his ptsd was manifested and all the ingredients were mixed so the Punisher could really be born one day.
