Good rumble on the whole but Batista winning while obvious is still bulls***. The Orton/Cena match was the same old stuff so thank god for the crowd.

Can see a LOT of sound edits being made for the Blu-Ray/DVD. I mean they tried drowning the crowd out when Batista was celebrating but it didn't work.

WWE have just lost it over the years.

Rumble PPV was much better than I expected. I though Cena and Orton were gonna put on a boring match, but it turned very good. Great match in my opinion. Rumble is certainly up for grabs as one of the more underrated shows of 2014. The Royal Rumble itself was very fun to watch and I kinda dig Bryan not being in it. It fits with the storyline and I'm feeling like we'll be seeing Daniel Bryan vs HHH at Wrestlemania. I'm meh on Batista, he just doesn't have it. Even Rock showed more spring in his step. Not sure how he's gonna survive an entire main event match. Orton is gonna have to pull something incredible out of his bag of tricks to make the guy look as good as possible.

WWE superstar CM Punk is QUITTING the organization, TMZ Sports has learned ... and sources tell us it's all because he's PISSED over the way the company wants to use him at "WrestleMania."

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ Sports ... Punk was livid when he learned officials scripted Batista to win the Royal Rumble ... because he feels Batista isn't in great wrestling shape and shouldn't be featured in the title match at the upcoming WrestleMania (the biggest event of the year).

We're told Punk feels he earned the right to be in the main event at WrestleMania -- because he's been wrestling tirelessly over the past year from house shows to overseas events. Punk was angry when he found out he'd be wrestling Triple H at WrestleMania instead of squaring off in the title match.

Sources say ... Punk -- whose contract is up in July -- made the decision to leave WWE after "Monday Night Raw" -- and we're told that right now, he's very serious about his decision and has no plans to return.

its pathetic how batista comes back after years and is in a wrestlemania main even after 1 match. a match where he looked clumsy and poor

Well they got to sell that crappy movie he is someway.

It seems Punk may have quit and walking about.

HM if he did quit that is to bad. Now if he has good reason good for him but if not then fork'em. Who knows WTF is going on and if its true. The guy does not hide the fact he is a major ass hole in real life so honestly I used to like him but really I can't root for a guy who is such a dick in real life. He is not a god in the ring and you have guys on the roister who are great who can take his place.

I say its a work myself him and Daniel are about to take on the authority.

If punk did go to MMA JASON DAVID FRANK wants him he shared a link from PJ peen on his facebook about him quieting and said I'm first. He used to be the green power ranger and is in MMA. Punk joked about fighting him before.

This is the same set-up as his big pipe bomb as they called it before. Rumours he wanted to quit and was about to walk out and the like. It made for a great storyline would not be shocking if they're tiring it again.

Batista was never a big deal before and he's not now, people just don't care enough about the guy one way or the other for him to be getting top billing. He's one of the "legends" they should have left in the past.

I'm thinking this is all a work but if not imagine if several others joined him? Can think of several who have more than enough reason to be frustrated with higher ups.

Well if this is true then it shows to me the guy is a cry baby. If he lift cause he body is f***ed then more power to him but if its cause I he does not like how things are going sick it up sissy. Its like he does not know pro wrestling is fake. Yeah you may not main event WrestleMania but god damn you're still being paid millions a year.

I still say its a work he will come back forum a group with Bryan and maybe some others and take on the the authority as outsiders like the NWO did in WCW.

There's a part of me that wouldn't mind seeing Punk and Bryan main event Wrestlemania against HHH and Kane in all honesty. Batista can midcard his title match.

How would you feel if you (and others) worked hard all year round only for some guy to come in and get the biggest job going? And this is not the first time, every year we hear about full timers getting more and more upset with part timers coming in for the big pay day.
As a fan I'm sick of it.

But I have seen one article say its not to do with Batista just how he is being used. Didn't want to do another program with HHH.

I've been f***ed when it comes to jobs a countless number of times. Hell even when I knew I was getting my ass fried in a few weeks I still worked my ass off it's just how I am. I mean come on the guy is making millions here. Its not like he is some walmart worker making min wage. Wrestling is f***ing fake here the company does what they think will make the most money.

Now I myself think they're being dumb as s*** get that belt on Bryan forking yesterday.

Batista vs Orton will not make the most money.

And this is not sudden. Guy has been used poorly for over a year and its not just him but why should he continue to force himself to do something he's not enjoying?

Honestly? Can't say it bothers me too much. I mean, it's not like Punk has been given the short hand of the stick. Yeah he jobbed to the Rock, but he was also the guy who jobbed to the Rock. I'm sure he got a great payday out of that and was given a huge feud and match with the Undertaker. Took some time off, came back to big hype against Jericho, and was put into a long term program with Heyman, which seems like they were given free reign on. Guy had a big Summerslam match against Brock Lesnar, again, probably getting big money from that, and repeatedly beat guys like Curtis Axel and Ryback. Let's not forget that he got put over both the Wyatts and the Shield (3-on-1 in fact). Guy has had a pretty good year overall looking from the outside. I'm not saying he should be happy, but a feud and WM match with HHH is hardly worth threatening to up and leave in my opinion. I do feel like he should be main eventing WM though. Both him and DB have earned it and quite frankly, I don't believe Batista is very good right now. Even the Rock was better prepared and he had way more of hectic schedule. That said, it's all up to him to decide what's good for him. If he honestly feels like feuding with HHH is that big of a step down, then he's put himself in a position to make that decision. Guys before have left for major reasons. Some regretted it and others feel very justified to this very day.

WWE_Elimination_Chamber_poster_%282014%29.jpg

This poster looks a bit lame. Anyone else agree? Either way, the PPV is looking nice. You Orton/Cena/Sheamus/Daniel Bryan/Antonio Cesaro/Christian in the Elimination Chamber itself and WWE has The Shield vs The Wyatts which is a strange thing to do in my opinion. For sure, I thought WWE was gonna save the match for Wrestlemania. I'll be looking forward to it either way, but I was hoping for more build-up I guess. It'd be cool if the match took place in the Chamber. Be like a War Games/Lethal Lockdown type of match.

It's not really strange at all. Vince has wanted to break up the Shield for a while now. It makes perfect sense to have them fight the Wyatts at EC. The Shield will lose, which will cause the break-up, then at WM, we'll have a triple-threat match with all three former Shield members. Reigns will win, and they'll give him a super-push. Because the crowd obviously loves him.

I admit, I squee whenever he spears someone.

If WWE is smart Shield vs Wyatts will end in DQ and become a on going feud from now till WM where it ends in a Steel cage and a loser team disbands outcome.

WWE had all-day Creative meetings on Thursday and Friday of this past week. I'm sure they had to rewrite a lot of their plans up to WM due to CM Punk leaving and the obvious fan displeasure with the Rumble.

They could have Bryan come out on top in the EC match and have him carry the title into WM. If they do this, expect them to turn Batista heel before Wrestlemania. Though a lot depends on what they promised him to get him to come back. If they promised him the title at WM, people aren't going to be happy.

Also, with CM Punk no longer on the road, expect Batista to be banging his girlfriend by the end of the month. XD

I do love Reigns, but I feel like he'd be better served by having this match at WM. These are the two biggest teams in WWE right now. It's a bit weird to not want to milk this feud just a bit longer. Then again, lots of stuff tends to get rushed around in general for the modern years.
