Well, good luck with Homefront. Koas (the studio) went bankrupt after it and closed down because the game was so unbelievably crappy. I'm not sure if the IP was sold or not.

They sold 2.6 million copies and an average of 70 on metacritic. I know, it's not BF4 or COD, but I liked it because it wasn't those.
 
Crytek is making Homefront 2...it is possible that just like how Ryse is exclusive to Xbox One...Homefront 2 is too. Fallout? I have had my fair share of rumours and claims and what not..and it all turned out to be bulls***. Even Bethesda themselves ruined the party recently with how they said we won't get any Fallout 4 news anytime soon.

They apparently lost a ton of that money on the dedicated servers they hyped before the game and that then did not work properly for nearly 4 weeks after launch (very like BF4). As I said, Kaos closed down soon after it launched so unless someone else bought the IP, it died with them. Personally, this game sits in the top 5 worst games I've ever played.

Kaos was made up of modders right, a lot of which made the BF1942 mod that BF2 was based on, right ?

There was a little pre-alpha footage leaked awhile ago, and I remember SuperDAE saying that was one of the games he played when he 'broke in' to MS's servers:



I thought homefront was decent, but no need for an exclusive on it really. But I'd be curious to see what it looks like now if it's really in development still.

I agree, I thought homefront was decent after the servers stabilized.

I thought their "killstreak" system was fresh take on killstreaks.
 
Should be starting now. No streams but there are a few live blogs out there.

DX12 will enhance any modern graphics chip. Driver support from IHVs will be key to enable those features. This is a massive change in how DX addresses the GPU, rather than (so far) the GPU adding features.

Just to reiterate... PS4 utilizes OpenGL, not DX. This change will not affect PS4. Changes to OpenGL will only improve PS4 performance.
