I haven't watched the gameplay or anything yet, but Streets of Rage 4 wasn't exactly impressive or anything, just more modern looking for a beat 'em up. Fantastic game btw.
Had the game on Game Gear back in the day when I was a wee lad. Could never beat that f***ing thing.
So... I've played the story mode for an hour or more... it's definitely not in the same league as SoR4, not even SoR2 or 3. There's no nuances to the attacks or attack patterns of enemies like in streets of rage... but, it's equal or better in almost every way in regards to the old TMNT beat'em ups imo.
It's fun though and the level variety is pretty good.

This reminds me of a game I would put quarters on at an arcade.
I've finished 10 of the 16 episodes or however many it's supposed to have. I'm playing solo, so it's not really much fun so far. I wish the game had graphics filters or something that made it not look like a game from 20+ years ago.
Played 4 co-op so far, and yes, as far as I know. Way more fun with people IMO.
