The environment is great. I waste so much time just walking around. I see a big truck tire and I just can't resist... must shoot tire.

Another question - is there a downside to using silencer/suppressors? There doesn't seem to be on the stats. I would assume less damage but the stats don't go down when I equip. I love my Scar H silenced.

I am loving the game and this weekend is going to be all about playing. Got to get to level 10 and check out the dark zone.

I'm finding it hard to stick to the seeker mine. The suppression from the turret is just so freaking sweet.

In small object, environmental/lighting, and destruction detail yes. What you have to keep in mind is scale and systems (which you mention).

GTA having traffic alone will eat a lot of cycles that the Division doesn't have to worry about. It also has more constant systems to track. There is AI going on all around at large scale all the time. You can't really make a direct comparison. GTAs engine is still extremely impressive- and it's a last gen engine! I can't wait for their new gen iteration :)

..so yes and no!

Not to mention the fact that Rockstar support the hell out of it with tons of free updates. In my book GTA Online is still the king of the hill for consoles when it comes to big open world games.

I'm glad to see that everyone is enjoying the game. I looking forward to playing this for a long time. I've been hyped about this game since they announced it, I must say, it has indeed lived up to it's hype. Graphics, gameplay, all of that is just done right.
 
Anyone want to group up with a grizzled old fart tonight? I think I'm level 8 now.

I'm level 21 now. I think the difference might be too large but if there is room in the squad when you're on you're welcome to jump in. Probably wouldn't be a plesent experience though :-)

Appreciate the offer. Yeah, I noticed a few people close to level 20. It'll probably take the weekend to get there.

That is far too large a difference.

I am level 28 now. Gunna try to hit to level 30 in the next couple of hours and then may be spend most of my time in the dark zone.

Have you seen the entire map now?
 
Survived my first manhunt last night. My son and I picked a fight in DZ 3. We managed to fight our way to the bottom level of the subway(lvl 4 filter req) and held out until it expired. Surviving a manhunt is something everyone should accomplish, the tension is incredible.

I've never been a big fan of 3rd person games. Not that I don't play them, but I just don't enjoy them as much as some.

That said, so far the combat in this is very addictive.

Sleeper hit for me. I was expecting it to suck because you know...Ubisoft, but it is actually FUN, and looks gorgeous.

I would say if you are into 3rd person shooters with heavy RPG elements and only co-op (though not strictly forced) you will enjoy this game tons.
Also alot of replay value.

(If you get it you better get the PC version because I need more PC peeps to play online with.)
 
I don't play third person shooters much either I just enjoy FPS but this just feels totally addicting and the gunplay and cover system is done great and works for me.

Damn was trying the napalm mission on hard last night so they were level 14 which is my level and got stuck with a group of level 8 and 9 players it was so damn intense we were on that mission for literally just over an hour and couldn't do the last part, they just died so quickly and I kept dying trying to revive them.
 
Guys, i need friends for this game! Down to play with any of y'all whenever I'm on. I'm only a level 7 or so i think right now but anyone who wants to group up feel free to friend me.
