I can get where you say that because of calling out one of our silly Sony Pony posters on his crap all the time. If you've watched my online play the past 2 years it's been 95% Sony. Those 5 years prior I didn't own a PS3 so obviously I could only speak to Xbox360 during that time so I guess my rep was established during those years. Whatever was is over now. But then again X1X rocks so goodbye PS4 (minus exclusives). Still not voting out of principle. :grin:
 
Xbox for sure. I don't usually buy any other system, not because I'm a fan boy or anything but because I don't have enough time for even one system, and I'm already so invested in Xbox (gamer score, library, etc), getting a different console just doesn't make sense.

Dual console owner, but like Z A C K, and me with Apple, too invested in Xbox platform and that being my choice platform has been a natural occurrence since I was a first week beta tester on Xbox Live.

Everything but Nintendo right now. Have a PC, X1X and PS4 Pro. The only reason I am not big into Nintendo is time and I'm not really into those kind of games.

The console wars are silly and stupid. Now is a fantastic time to be a gamer. I split time on PC, Xbox and PS and they all have great things to offer.

I suppose I've always had a special place for Xbox. They are like that uncool kid that never gets respect. They are the industry whipping boy. Some of it deserved, but most of it not. They are the anti-Apple who can never, ever do things right even when they do.

I'm much newer to Sony with me just getting a PS4 in the past few years. I'm loving that too and enjoying some old games that I missed.

There's no reason not to be a multi console owner unless you have financial constraints (which happens, I know). It wasn't long ago I couldn't afford to do it.
 
I tend to lean PC but that changes from generation to generation. It really depends on where the games are that I like to play. This gen I've had more stuff I like on PC than consoles. Last gen I was really enjoying everything PS360 could handle.
 
Kind of a hard question here.

Out of the big three:
-I favor MS because I love the forward thinking ideas they bring to the table, XBL, the controller, all of my friends who game online do so dominantly on Xbox though they do own PS consoles etc etc...
-My favorite developer is Sony Santa Monica.
-My favorite game ever is a Nintendo game.
-I spend most of my gaming time on PC and most of the games I have owned, all generations included and added together... my PC library still weighs in much higher.

Well, I did notice some of the things you said in response to Val (pretty anti-Sony). I also noticed you didn't go after any of the Xbox fanboys with nearly half the energy you went after Val.

I also remember, last Nov., you said that 2017 would be "Year of the Xbox," and was "going to be a tough year to be a PS4 owner." (Ha. How did that work out?) So yeah, kind of an Xbox fan there.

I'm not trying to be critical, but I am disagreeing with your self-assessment as unbiased. I think you clearly lean Xbox, or at least you have for the past couple of years. At least, that is my assessment.

No biggie. We all have biases.
 
The Union has always struck me as a little peculiar. It feels like the people here lean single player in their tastes, yet they're still loyal to XBox.

I'll bet that's why so many members own PS4s, although they clearly lean Xbox. If you're an SP-oriented gamer (as most here are), I think it would be hard to go without a PS4 this gen.

I like SP and MP and I see Sony as the best at Narrative SP games and while MS is better than Sony at MP I don't really see them as the best and its also an area with a ton of competition. If I had to choose one I don't think I would feel like I was missing out on as much if I just owned an PS4 vs just owning an X1.

10 years ago I would have seen Xbox as far and away the better choice in almost every way.

I was going to comment about how I hate dressing with my penis in either direction, except for up or down (mostly up, for optimal frenulum stimulation when you bump into people on the train/priests/tables) but I'm holding back, just to prove your assumption wrong!

I will not mention my frenulum at all!!!

Oh, and i voted PC. I buy almost all of my games on PC, but I'm pretty sure PlayStation would have the best exclusives I want.

Every forum is similar.

New IPs, SP games, RPGs etc.... will usually get the most posts. But when it comes to sales and gaming, the standard FIFA, or shooter gets the most play time.

That's because people like to discuss new games, but for oldies like EA's 25th version of FIFA, everyone knows about it. Not much to discuss.
 
I voted Xbox but own both consoles and play them. As others have stated, I am a single player game only and Sony has some incredible games that can’t be missed.

I’m getting a PC this year so we’ll see what my bias is in time.
