I knew it. Put Andy down for the Witcher 3 review and Dragon Age Inquisition. We'll be the one of the few sites that actually played through the entire game before publishing a review.

ha ... Actually I think I'd like to play those games without reviewing them. It seems to me that, if you're reviewing a game, you experience it differently than if you are "just playing it." You're taking notes, paying attention to things that you wouldn't otherwise, looking at it critically, analyzing it. I would rather "just play" those games.

Re. the question, I imagine that there are a number of people who might be interested in contributing an occasional article, but who don't want to commit to producing work on a weekly basis. I was just wondering whether that kind of contribution would be accepted. I expect that it would be (I mean, why not?), but I just wanted to clarify.

Since the beginning people have been able to submit pieces. A few did. If people want to submit a piece it would be considered not outright accepted. We're looking for people that want to produce pieces on a consistent basis first and foremost. Having a front page and an article here and there every few weeks, or longer, wouldn't work.

I gotcha.

.

I would rather you just play those games and then give us a review. Gamer reviews are generally far more honest accounts of a product than the often convoluted ravings from 'pro reviewers'.

Yeah, that might be fun. We'll see.
