Take a break from the console wars and tell us what you're playing on your PS4.

How's it going? What do you think of the game so far?

Playing Daylight for the PS4. Not as scary as I thought it would be. Looking at the enemy for a period of time is what gets you killed. All you have to do is look away and survive. Meanwhile in SCP Containment Breach, looking away is what gets you killed! (and blinking! )XD

I recommend playing Daylight on hard even for your first run. The more real sense of death adds to the fear better. And do adjust the brightness settings in the menu options so you aren't blind.

I haven't bought a thing for my PS4 since launch so I still just own Fifa, Killzone and NBA 2K14 the latter I occasionally indulge in and it's because I'm just not very good. Killzone has been benched and will remain that way for eternity to be honest; I completed the campaign. Fifa on the other hand I play everyday (If I can) and remains my most played game amongst all platforms although I'm getting bored.

Roll on Watch Dogs. Reviews and gamer opinion permitting.

MLB 14 The Show I guess... haven't played it in a week or so. Too busy with PC games right now to care.

Started RTTS on MLB 14 last night. I forgot how fun this game is.

Which in turn has started my hankering for 'MyPlayer' mode in NBA 2k14.

Killozne truth be told I'm not having much fun with it but I paid for it may as well finish it. I need to play more Marvel Lego play that game with the wife and she plays resogun.

Nothing at the moment. I haven't turned my PS4 on in weeks to play a game. Watch Dogs will be my next game simply because i need to get some use out of the console. Otherwise i'd probably go with the X1 version.

Finally getting around to Child of Light. After that, will move on to either Transistor or Wash_Dogs.

Im still waiting for my first PS4 title, which I hope ends up being Watch Dogs. I thought about getting Wolfenstein for it, but the fact that graphics were equal on both consoles, and that for me, the X1 controller is infinitely better for shooters, meant that I chose not to go the PS4 route. Im really praying that Watch Dogs comes through. If not, im gonna start feeling like I bought a $400 dollar paper weight soon. That more games aren't released during the summer is just infinitely stupid to me.

Child of Light, passively.

I am about to get into Transistor soon.

BF4 here and there, but the exclusives just bore me to tears.
I'm liking Thief ok, but man is this game ugly. Looks current gen. May give watch dogs a rent.

Transistor. It's a pretty good game. And the visuals are gorgeous! It's just a 2D game, but they stacked so many layers of visual effects that I'm surprised the PS4 can handle it all.

this game is really crappy. the stealth isn't challenging at all. the swooooop mechanic is awesome though:cool:

Maybe the stealth isn't challenging because of the awesome swooooop mechanic. :hehe::p

Wolfenstein, baby! It's a ton of fun.

Hell yeah!!!:bang:

Wolfy is another example how a game doesn't necessarily need multiplayer (though I wish it had Horde Mode against Z Nazis) to feel like there is value. After I complete Wolfy I'm going back to Tomb Raider for my second playthru and then back to Wolfy for seconds. These are also two great examples of reboots that went awesome.

I'm trying to advance through infamous. The save points kind of suck in this game. And what I mean is where they start you back off after dying.

Sometimes a zone will have like 22% left to clear, but I don't see enemies anywhere. Is this just drones and cameras that I missed?

I finally figured out that I needed to upgrade my abilities manually and am have more fun with the game. I just sometimes don't know where to go next.

Yes, to 100% clear a zone, you need to destroy all DUP areas, cameras, kill stealth agent, get the audio log, get all the flying blue drones, all the spray paints and beat the showdown for that area.

Final Fantasy XIV and Battlefield. I'll be playing these two games until Diablo. I don't have much interest in Watch Dogs.

I am not trying to create a flame war. I didn't notice it with the limited time I had with the xbone. Do you notice this massive deadzone on the sticks? I have no such experience on the PS4, feels like an incredibly sensitive mouse to me.

---

I am currently playing Killzone Elite Mode (3 lives..) but I am curious if it is 3 lives for the whole campaign or per level, and if those free fall sections are part of it.. consider the campaign never finished. lol Finishing up Transistor (Trophies), and playing through Trine 2 and Thief finally. Thief is fun but putting it on Hard may have been a burden, the stealth system.. is very sensitive.

Too add to that video you posted, I actually have a higher accuracy percentage on the ps4 version of ghosts compared to the x1. At's almost 2% better on the ps4. I've felt that the ps4 has better sticks than the x1 for a while now. Although as a complete product I think I like the x1 controller a bit better.

I need to get FFXIV. I enjoyed the Beta, and it's only $40 to download.

Firstly, what an obnoxious douche the guy in that video is, secondly, I haven't played Ghosts on either system, so I can't speak to its sensitivity differential on the X1/DS4 , but I do have Wolfenstein on the X1, and ive noticed no problems at all there. I had to jack up the sensitivity all the way, but that's mainly because I like to play FPS with the sensitivity really high. I noticed no lack of responsiveness on it, or Battlefield, or any other game to this point. Im also curious as to how many people have done the firmware updates from the dashboard, which actually increased stick sensitivity on the X1 controller. Of course, im also not bored enough to run tests like this myself, so to each their own. Ive never sat there and made tiny circular motions with the analogue sticks on any controller to see how responsive they were. I just play the game.

Never knew that. Good to know that the DS4 has less deadzone than the X1 controller. Important for competitive FPS games.

I'm progressing a little more in infamous. 31% or somewhre around there.

I had a cool incident happen where I was fighting a few DUP vehicles and they each had one guy wioth the rock power, well one of the rock guys was on the back of the DUP vehicle and when he took off, he left a trail of rock behind that weighed the back of the DUP vehicle down making it do a wheelie.

If it was the controller, why would it not do the same thing on Titanfall?
I'm not saying that there isn't a deadzone ( I haven't noticed) but it's odd that it's better or worse depending on the game.
