What are you playing this weekend?

No, but we could see it from the resort. We thought about going but they mentioned it was an all day thing and we were afraid the kids would get bored.
Yes, the kids might get bored. But if it’s an adult only trip it’s awesome. My son is 24 now so he’s not wanting to do that stuff with us now.

Did not play much game, I think I spent about 1 hour in D4, mostly sorting through inventory.

I was watching Netflix (Anime call Kengan Ashura, about underworld fights. Pretty cool) . Also I was writing my first short novel.

It started as a simple fun mini scene I cooked up while driving. But the whole main plot has been nailed down, & the draft (written words, not just ideas in head) )(pre editing) is about 40% done.
Yesterday while having breakfast, I managed to finish the final fight scene. Felt good.

The game changer was the new ipad pro I bought 2 weeks ago, allow me to write (rather than type) , & digital means far easier to correct, then on paper.

I have the ipad almost always by my side, so I can wrote whenever I have an idea. When I tred typing on PC; the issue is, when your ideas are flowing, you may not have your pc with you. When you are on PC. you may not have the mood anymore to write,

Came across a game on sale yesterday morning called Dysmantle. I remember it coming out in the past couple years on XB and Switch (it’s available on everything) then forgot about it. It’s a post apocalyptic zombie survival game set on a big island open world. It’s a top down view you can zoom the camera in or out to your liking and graphics are nice and colorful.

The really great thing about it is you don’t have to worry about hunger or stamina like other survival games. You just go out explore, run quests, fight monsters, and break stuff throughout the environment for materials to craft and upgrade, then you find a camp site to rest and upgrade your gear or unlock new skills (you have a chest that stores all your material no limit). It’s really addicting and a lot of fun.

It’s on sale for $7 on MS store. Plus the 3 DLC’s are also on sale so I got those as well (have read online you could put 30+ hours into this game easily), all together I spent $22. Highly recommend, one of the better indies I’ve played in recent years. It also has co-op.

Snowrunner - I thought this would be like a 20 to 40 hour game, but I'm 70 hours in. Haven't finished the first area Michigan. Only just entered the second area Alaska which seems just as big as Michigan, and still have Tymre to go to. Not to mention the 10 expansion DLCs.

Kinda thinking I shouldn't pick up Expeditions next week with so much still to do in Snowrunner's base game.

Going to start the new Prince of Persia game too.

Started FF7 Rebirth this morning and will continue my GT7 play through. One license test left before I unlock the final exam!

I'm in that weird "not sure what to play next" mode. I finally finished AC Mirage and the Cyberpunk DLC.

I'm too cheap to buy games at full price, so holding off for sales on some big games from last year.

I just jumped back into Forza Motorsport. There's always Diablo 4 and Flightsim.

I'll probably jump into Dead Island 2 on Game Pass, although it isn't on PC Game Pass for some reason.

With Formula 1 starting and Dune 2 hitting theaters, there's not much time anyway.

I'm declaring March as Forza Motorsport month. Going to play it everyday day.

When is that fix for the dumb car system coming? I was playing last night but of course didn't have enough "car points" to properly upgrade a car. Just so annoying and killed my urge to play. It was just a single one off race too, so not worth putting tons of hours into a car that will run 3 race laps.

Middle of March.

How is that game? Gameplay, controls, driving, graphics? It’s on GP right? Have always wanted to find the right, done well, fun, addicting, sim game to get into. Have almost tried Powerwash a few times. Like I said before Lawnmower one didn’t hold my interest long. Any recommendations?

Powerwash sim is oddly satisfying. It is hard to describe, but it just tickles that little OCD we all have. I didn't make it all the way through it, but I pop back in anytime.

The big issue is that my wife sees me playing and yells at me that the real house and awnings are filthy.

Snowrunner is the Dark Souls of driving games. The terrain is tough. You will roll, get stuck, crash a lot.

But I love it. Handling feels nice. Physics are decent. Terrain deformation is cool. Graphics are pretty decent for its age.Lots to do.

If you have GP give it a try.

Rebirth probably for the rest of the next few months at least.

Sprinkle maybe some Helldivers 2 in between when the friends want to play.

This place is getting awfully quiet.
Been skiing up north for our "sports break" (not sure if you have something similar? ), not much phone time, but did manage to cram a few hours of Redfall on Gamepass streaming through Android with a razer phone controller thing... it's not a bad game, but it's hilariously last gen graphically and the still imaged cutscenes are mind bogglingly cheap.
