What happened to the non-glare LCD TVs?

My wife and I are looking to upgrade from our current Vizio 40inch LCD TV 1080p 120hz and our TV currently has a non-glare screen, meaning it's not that shiny stuff I see on pretty much all TVs these days at the stores. So what happened to the non-glare screens? Are they gone completely?

I even have a Dynex 24 inch 1080p 60hz TV and it has a non-glare screen.

Yeah I know what you mean. I bought a Vizio LCD for our bedroom and it has as much or more glare than my Panny Plasma in my living room.

My Samsung has little to no glare.

Yeah I bought a vizio led for my daughters room, the vizio has much more glare than my Panny Plasma.
Try to find a TV with a matte screen if they still make them.
