Someone tweeted this video to the Director of SSM, Cory Barlog, and told him they should aim for that visual fidelity in their next game.

We'll see, maybe in cut scenes, but I really but zero stock in anything a developer says about actual gameplay. By the time testing happens, many things change that require scale backs. These new consoles are incredibly underpowered at launch, and its been a full year with its tech sitting static and nothing to show that is groundbreaking, not even close actually.

Yeah, we'll have to wait and see. God of War 3 looked really good though on the PS3.

well besides firing their workers who knows. I really think GOW should have ended with 3 to bad it was a weak ending to that story. I hope it's something besides a new GOW. Also his reply is blank to me.

Yeah i highly doubt well be seeing in game characters reach that level of fidelity on these consoles.

Maybe one of David Cage's interactive movies can get half way there.

We won't see anything of Sony Santa Monica till late 2015 at the earliest I would say. Their new I.P got cancelled so they have nothing close to being ready.

Considering what they did with GoW3 o PS3, I have no doubts that it is more than likely true. That game is still more impressive than a lot of current gen games.

Yeah, that is quite a shame.

On some positive s***, the guy that was in charge of the game, one of the GoW creators is now working @ Respawn. So, that's kinda cool and it's definitely something to be excited about. Also, the fact that they pointed out that he ISN'T working on Titanfall could be alluding to a new IP to be on the lookout for.

Didn't know that last bit. I wonder if it's a different genre as well. I'm not sure if Respawn has to keep having their games published under the EA umbrella or not, but it'll be interesting to see what's up next for them.

I

I would do anything for that level of graphic fidelity.

But I won't do that.

No, no.

I won't do that.

What about this Meatloaf?

Have they said anything about God of War 4 yet? Can't wait for that.

Who knows, it would be awesome to see.

As of right now, it seems a bit uncertain, since: Jaffe quit SSM to go mobile and Stig Asmussen was fired. Which leaves Cory Barlog to carry the torch.. Whatever he is working on seems to be in the early stages if his twitter posting is anything to go by. I'd imagine it's probably a new project and GoW is on the backburner after Ascension.
