Yep. I thought it started decently but just went down hill. Did not enjoy it.
Exactly the same experience. I kept rubbing my forehead because it kept getting worse and worse. I was very close to walking out after I made that post.

I joined a movie watch group in VRChat and saw eXistenZ
So.... I watched a movie about Virtual Reality while in Virtual Reality. I saw that movie before and it came out in the late 90s, and it's just crazy to watch this while I now experience insane VR Tech today.
Quite a bit of contrast as this 'Game' runs on BioPunk game pods and repairing them is like doing surgery and it can be gruesome.
I consider it the unofficial successor to Videodrome.

I got around to watching Fast X on Amazon Prime. It was so stupid… and I had a fun time watching it lol.

Only saw one time and didn’t like it at all. Maybe I should rewatch it?
There are moments which haven't aged well. A lot of scenes and lines have been so heavily quoted that they feel cheesy and cringe-worthy now. That said, the style and visuals still hold up, and there are some extremely entertaining action scenes.

I rewatched it recently, I still think it’s a bad ass movie. The sequel on the other hand not so much.
So earlier today I was scrolling through social media and came across a picture of the actor/comedian Sinbad in a genie outfit and I thought “hey I remember that family movie from the 90’s!” and I even remembered the name and some of what it was about. I’m curious does anyone else remember this movie or the name? Once I went down the rabbit hole of this movie… WTF!?
Isn't that the Mandela Effect movie that supposedly never existed called Shazaam.
Remember the days when networks or even local channels would have a Movie Host? Like Elvira Mistress of the Dark or Joe Bob Briggs or Ghouliardie or Dr. Shock?
He think this comes partly from his appearance as a host running Sinbad the Sailor.
Also, possibly this is confused with the Shaq movie Kazaam. I wonder if Sinbad's movie marathon was ever repeated or if a trailer for the Shaq movie appeared, or if promos for both ran on the same network.

I did watch a lot of tv back then. That is possible what I’m remembering. The thing is I knew who Shaq was basketball was my favorite sport growing up and I remember the movie he made. I also have a memory of the Sinbad genie movie and remember the name. This is weird. Also my wife remembered the movie and the name too before I told her that apparently it doesn’t exist.

Think this is from a TV show episode about how Shazam was found in an alternate universe. Think it is like 10 years old now.
Apparently it never existed and millions of people are miss remembering. Sinbad has said he never made it and I saw the kid actor from the non-existing film committed suicide in the early 2000’s. People with memories of the film say it seems like the movie was scrubbed from existence after the early 2000’s, or we are mass not remembering correctly….. or we’re now living in an alternate universe after the mid 2000’s when CERN started their experiments lol.Wait, Sinbad wasn’t in a genie movie? But what if you went out of the theatre, and asked to speak to a manager (I'm not that kind of guy btw, just thinking here) and just said this movie sucks and I want to go home and feel like I wasted money. I wonder if they'd offer you like a credit for the next movie you want to see?
