What TV show have you seen recently ? Episode one

Orphan Black:Echoes - Meh!! Only managed to sit through 5 episodes.

Orphan Black was fantastic but this prequel show set like 35 years after Orphan Black is just retreading old ground in a worse way.
I stopped watching it when there were like 10 of them. I’m probably exaggerating, but when there was a lot of her I just stopped.

Even season 4 was great IMO. Perhaps the weakest.

To each their own. I get new Fargo, I'm a happy man. So far so good.

Anyone watch Slow Horses? Gary Oldman playing dirty drunk MI5 dude. Really good and 3rd season is out (3 episodes out so far I think)

Something about winter always makes me want to watch viking stuff. Finished the first season of The Last Kingdom last night, started season 2.

Finally got around to watching Love, Death & Robots Seasons 2 & 3. "Jibaro" was truly a stunning work of art. Very unnerving/unsettling to watch. Entire time I thought the scenery/costumes were gorgeous, and acting/choreography were outstanding. BUT IT WAS ALL CGI.

I finally re-subbed to Netflix, so a lot of these may be old news to other people:

-The Fall of the House of Usher - fantastic. I am normally not a big horror fan, but this just worked. Thrilling, but with great acting and story.

-Black Mirror season 6 - kind of lame. This show definitely ran short on ideas.

In regards to Fargo, we started the new season. We tried season 2 again and still couldn't get into it. My wife and I liked all the other seasons.

Season 2 is fantastic. Arguably the best season.

Season 4 is the weakest.

I watched Loki season 2 recently. I loved it, continues to be my favorite of the MCU shows I’ve seen.

Don’t remember if I posted also watched Gen V enjoyed that one as well. Turned out to be a good setting for a The Boys spin off.

Also watched and finished Haunting of Bly Manor. Don’t get the mixed reception it got I thought it was just as good as his other shows in its on way. Some great moments and satisfying ending. Recommend if you enjoyed Hill House, Midnight Mass, and House of Usher. Give it a shot.

Blue Eye Samurai Episode 1: Good

If Disney made a cartoon for adults.

Edit: Season finished. Great show, but sadly tons of loose ends as the final credits roll.
Loved it but only negative, there was a lot of digital t*ts and d*cks, which they didn’t need to have, but lovely visuals and choreography/story was cool!

I haven't watched South Park in several years, but I watched the new special, 'Not Suitable For Children' last night. It was entertaining enough that I watched The Panderverse special immediately after.

Blue Eyed Samurai - Below Average

Felt forced. Lots of sex and nudity for no reason. Action was eh. Plots and writing is all over the place. Only reading it’s getting a second season is because of the nudity.

Geong Jeung creature. (1-8 season 1 part 1)

I was ready my Christmas market mandeln(coated Almond) (if anyone come to Wurstland Christmas market, you need to buy one of these bad boys, but get only 100g, as once you started, you cannot stop) for 5 nights in Freedy but unfortunately not yet available on Prime.

But my bad boys were already popped open so I figured I might as well try to watch some shows. Scanned Prime & Netflix & found a random Korean Monster show called Geong Jeung creature.
UI figured I tried one episode & see if it was good.
2 days later, I am done with 8 episodes!
It was a fairly decent show. Interestingly taking place at the tail end of the Japanese occupation of Korea.
Not sure how the Japanese think about the portrayal in the show but yeah.

Also, the leading lady (Han So-Hee) is outrageously glorious, even when she is dirty, and rugged in most of the show. At times, she looks like a doll. :ylove:

I think if I am to pick between Emma Watson & So-Hee, it will be a hard choice. But I put Emma slightly ahead, if only I can't speak Korean. Just so you guys know.

Apparently, the leading actor is very popular as well (Park Seo Jon) , & I can see he has that Tom Hiddleston vibes, minus the high forehead.

But like most Korean shows, I fking cannot pronounce or remember most names, maybe they should change their name to more pronounceable ones like Bill, & Mary for Western audiences (its a joke)

It's a fun horror flick. 7.5/10.
