Getting a copy right now. Ready for the cheese fest (I'm going to enjoy it!)

edit: Picked up the 1982 extended cut on bluray for $10 from the local Wallyworld. Guess that's what I'm doing with my life today.

It's a short 6 episode season, might want to wait until there's something else on Max to justify the membership. It's weird how massively HBO has fallen since changing ownership.
Yeah, short. For awhile there, HBO Max was doing very well with spacing out programming. Probably after Curb, I'll drop it again.

During the pandemic, I remember thinking HBO Max was far and away the best streaming service. They were getting movies the same time as theater, awesome new shows, all the DC stuff, TCM stuff, etc. Now it's pretty slim pickings, they've released the DC properties to other streamers, it's crazy rare they get a new movie I'm excited about.

and yet they went up in price last year. That’s why I dropped them. Their content took a nose dive after House of the Dragon and The Last Of Us plus wasn’t many movies hitting anymore.

I feel attack, they got rid of many animated series and movies, a lot of indie stuff too.

Watching For All Mankind Season 1. Skipping through all of the non-space drama. Great show.

Edit: First season done. Unexpected events made this show fantastic. The concept of each season advancing 10 years ahead of the prior seasons is interesting.

Season 2: started strong, then everyone literally did dumbass things that were completely out of character.

Season 2 ended with hell of a finale, despite the blunders just a couple of episodes prior. Season 3 started with the cringiest set design. But great plot developments.

Is Shogun all subtitles? That's what keeps me from starting it. Regardless of how good it might be, there's just so much lost to subtitles.

KIN Season 1 & 2 - A by the books gangland warfare show set in Ireland. It isn't bad, but is way too predictable and does nothing to standout.
