Hey all,

I just wanted you to know that with Windows 10, we've done our best to provide a solid, streamlined way of getting suggestions and issues back to Microsoft.

If you install Windows 10 and something doesn't work as you'd expect it to, or you have an idea for something that would be really sweet, simply search for "Windows Feedback". That application comes standard in most Windows 10 sku's, so it should be there.

With that app, you can up-vote issues and suggestions other people have suggested/logged, and/or you can log you own issues with it.

In addition to the Windows Feedback app (which is a great catch all for ANYTHING in Windows, including apps) - most apps also have a feedback mechanism. Those go directly back to the core teams on those apps/features.

For example, Cortana has a "feedback" mechanism, as does Edge.

If there are any questions about that, let me know.

Thanks!

Flynn no mater how hard you guys try, you will never make people happy. I see that for a while and I think it's getting very old. Forget MS went all out to try to great for people. Talking s*** on MS is far more easier and popular to get hits.

I say f*ck with them, I love this new OS and how it put everything together under on Microsoft Account. It makes everything so simple and I do hope MS put everything under their Marketplace.

i do have a question...
Google have chrome that holds all my pictures and most important book marks. Can edge hold my bookmarks under MS account? I dont want to export them into a file just to save them. I rather just log in to any edge browser and my bookmarks comes with it.

My laptop s*** itself just won't connect online, so I'm going to build a desktop, can I get win 10 from scratch or need to buy?

I just finished installing Windows 10 on my gaming desktop, and so far it runs pretty good.

Will try out some various games to see if anything breaks.

I found the feedback mechanisms.

Update hasn't hit me yet. :(

I took a shortcut. :p

While I recently graduated from my University this past May, we still have access to our school accounts for about 2 years. Since we get free software from Microsoft, I went ahead and downloaded the ISO for Windows 10 and installed it. :)

Cortana can't understand me when I'm using my "Swedish back packer" impersonation.

Nor my German porn voice. What's the use!?!?!

Windows 10 doesn't like my wireless keyboard and mouse. The screen keeps scrolling by itself. Annoying as hell.

Love it. Diablo 3 runs better on my laptop. Streaming Xbox One works awesome. Surprised that I cannot detect any lag as long as the laptop is wired.

Just a warning to anyone running an AMD video card - I started getting "INTERNAL POWER ERROR" blue frownies of doom within a minute or two of logging in, and after a quick search on another device, found out that it was related to Catalyst and the drivers for AMD Cards. The fix is to start task manager as soon as you can after logging in, stop any AMD services and then stop any Catalyst processes, start the device manager, select the AMD card and update the drivers. It will download and install the correct drivers for W10, and I didn't have any problems after that for the limited amount of time I was able to be on.

What is Temp_SafeToDeleteRefreshFile_Attempt0_File0 file?

I know it has to do with my old Windows 8.1 files. But it's using up half my HDD and I did a clean install. It's like 239 GB's.

Does it automatically go away or should I delete it? I read it has something to do with reverting back to your old OS within 30 days. But when I clean installed, it said that I couldn't revert back after that point anyway.

Is iTunes not supported by Windows 10? I installed it twice with errors saying that "Apple Application Support not found"

I may have answered my own question. lol But this sheet is annoying.

I'm running a Radeon Card and so far no problem. After installing Win10, Catalyst popped up with a dialogue box. Maybe that took care of the issue.

It may just be related to laptops, too. I think the links I saw mostly were talking about it happening on laptops, so perhaps that's why I hit that too. Anyway, it's working wonderfully now. Actually took a little time out Saturday night to test out the streaming with Halo:MCC, and despite my abysmal router and it all being wireless, it was a pretty solid experience (other than the right stick occasionally turning a small push left or right into an opportunity to do a 540 degree pirouette).

Supposedly, there is a nifty new Game Bar tool in Windows 10 that can record PC game play. I tried it with Steam but it didn't seem responsive. Is this intended more for the XBox streaming dealy?

I am hearing Way 2 much bad reports for my tastes was going to upgrade but I will try and wait till it has less bugs and is less invasive.

Yeah some drivers don't seem to be matured yet. But overall much better than 8 as far as UI and stuff.

Damn.

Encountered my first issue with Windows 10.

My Start button doesn't work at all, even if you press the Windows key. Plus my Microsoft Edge icon on my Taskbar is invisible (Won't open on click), but you can tell it's still there. In fact, most of the icons and search capabilities on my Taskbar isn't responding when you click them.

I tried various possible solutions but no luck. A system restore didn't help either. Apparently there's been a reasonable amount of people that had this issue during the preview period but Microsoft hasn't fixed it.

I hope an update will come soon because I really don't want to reinstall the OS and lose my programs.

that is a setting you have to do in start menu.

Go to cortana and type start settings and you will turn off use start full screen

Checked that start setting (Had to go through an alternate route since the search bar doesn't work which I think has to do with the Start / Taskbar being busted), and it's already off. :(
