Hey guys,

come check out this wicked montage by tripleWRECK, a key vocal individual for Destiny's PVP community. The song selection and montage was put together quite well IMO. Enjoy.

That one video touches on everything that is wrong with competitive PvP. Sniper is stupid, thorn is bull, Supers are annoying as fook, and rocket launcher are just ridiculous.

How is sniper stupid? I'd understand if you meant some shotguns but sniper is one of the few weapons in this game that shows how skilled you are... unless you're talking about final round snipers. Bungie's nerfing that in the next weapons update.

Thorn is definitely OP, supers are ... supers. And yes rocket launchers > machine guns ATM because of the grenades and horseshoes perk but bungie is also nerfing that.
 
It confuses me as to how anyone can look at the video and not see the obvious skill involved. The dude in that video is sniping enemies who are in mid-air, lol. He’s sliding in for shotgun kills like a pro and performing perfect grenade tosses as easily as a NBA baller puts the ball in the hoop. The dude is awesome and he has the video to prove it.

No. All the snipers used in the montage were not final round and were headshots. Actually, our entire community despise final round snipers and discourage people from using it because it's so broken.
 
I don't play nearly enough pvp to say anything about balance in this game, but in other games a gun gets a positive rep and some montages, and suddenly it is crazy overpowered. A gun gets a rep and suddenly everyone is using it, so now of course everyone I going to get killed by it more.

In COD AW there was that good gun that everyone used then it got nerfed and wasn't even best in its class, yet people still used it a ton.

Awesome vid by the way.

I wasn't being entirely serious with my original post. I was mostly taking the mickey out of the Destiny community, but then you started to validate the post.

Yeah I agree with you except for the sniping from the montage.
