X-Files

Cool. I liked the show Debris when it debut a few years back, but got canceled. Since this is a recognized name, I have high hopes for this. Too difficult to keep sci-fi shows running these days. It's all NCIS, FBI, Chicago shows. Ugh.

Ryan Coogler was the director of Fruitville Station, both Black Panther movies, and the first Creed. No remotely relevant experience (even as a producer) for this genre of a show.

I'm down with a reboot, but Disney + Coogler seems like a terrible fit.

What if it were Jordan Peele?

Better than Disney's yes men, but his Twilight Zone reboot died quickly and didn't seem to excite anyone.
I wanted to watch it, still do, but forget what streaming service it may be on….that’s probably the issue too, maybe it’s on one that’s forgettable, besides my crap memory

Then again all those were good (haven’t watch Panther 2 yet) give the man a chance. And this would probably be an adult Hulu series like the new Alien series.
