Yeah, it can be. I've been on Helium and Bloom runs to get my equipment better. Almost lvl 27. I'm also doing the bounty for the pulse rifle, so I have to do 25 strikes. Therefore, I'm hitting the Devil's Lair 25 times. That's not fun...at least they are quick.Sounds like we have a fireteam!

I'd be cool if we could get a group together for a clan Strike or a shot at the Raid this weekend.
If anyone ever needs an extra guardian for a high level strike or raid feel free to add me and/or invite me to your fireteam. I am usually on at night solo and on the weekends with my nephew. I am level 25 hunter and would like do some of the ones that do not allow match-making. Sometimes I have network problems and get dropped but I can usually jump back in.

Man that strike was no joke it caught me completely unaware! Those damn wizards...
If I could get a good deal id like to double dip and get it on here as well and frag with you guys.
Oh they are the worst, we had already figured out earlier you had to retreat to have any chance at our level lol, we had a great time, will have to do it again, I need a bunch more strange coins.
Finally did that strike last night but its so boring to cheap it and grind it out by hiding and shooting. Took forever but those wizards were no joke.
I agree, I would have much rather one shot killed them but they were having none of it lol, like six wizards shooting an unending stream of death that took 90% of my health with one hit.
If Im not mistaken the Nexus is the next Nightfall and Weekly. There is a way to cheap through it as well. Getting to the boss is the hard part. To my knowledge there is a trick to every Nightfall except the Devils Lair, and the Mars strike. I actually managed to solo the Mars Nightfall strike. All I had to do was jump from one side of the room to the other when the baddies started over running my position during the boss fight.
Is this game worth it still at $40? Also, does it work decently if lets say I'm a complete noob and want to join up with you guys?
I think it's worth $40, I got my $60 worth out if it. Just be prepared to visit the same 4-5 places ad nauseam once you complete the campaign/reach lvl 20. The party system works surprisingly well in Destiny, I'll gladly game with you. The gameplay/gun play is top notch.
