It is on topic. If the game quality doesn’t directly correlate to success then it contradicts your post.Same increasing costs is my guess but probably best to stay on topic
Okay I'll bite , Jim just said recently that PS5 is on track to be the most successful PlayStation across multiple vectors. So in that sense, it does correlate. It is on topic. If the game quality doesn’t directly correlate to success then it contradicts your post.
The EU has a hard on for sueing/fining MS as far as I can tell.Seems they want to get ahead of the EU

PlayStation lacks understanding of how to generate sustainable profits, Sony Group president says | Game World Observer

Just like PlayStation is doing and PS gamers don’t like it. But Sony will do what’s best for Sony. And really they should. It’s their business.Xbox is trying to build growth at the cost of porting out their exclusives right now, their gamers don't like it,

Love your avatarYeah PS will do what they feel is in their best interests too.
Casuals won't give a s***.I am keep seeing that the next xbox will use 2 OS in their system.
One will have the Xbox kernel and windows.
If this turns out to be true, this can change everything.

That's true but when they see a game that can run well from the steam store, they will peak their interest.Casuals won't give a s***.

XBOX-Steam-EPIC store on one system? Why though? Eating into their memory / storage doesn't seem to be a good idea with already limited RAM/harddrive capacity. Do they want devs to optimize into even more different OS's now on top of different hardware sku's? Unless they are just going to cloud game everything but then what's the point of two OS's at that point.
XBOX-Steam-EPIC store on one system?
Windows sucksSo just Windows?
Rumours were they were letting consumers pick and choose different hardware from MSI/Gigabyte/Asus etc and other retailers to make your own console PC box. Maybe true in that sense?
Their movies are kinda bad, especially their “in association” live action movies. Their cameras are great, almost every iPhone in existence has one built by themSo why is Sony floundering?

Well they just said they want to be on every screen, and something about being on all platforms. Maybe people are looking at it the wrong way with the latter, maybe the platforms they speak of is stuff like selling their games on epic game store, steam and gog, maybe even Facebook. Seeing as their new first party games under abk were only sold thru their store and not the windows store, egs, cog, and only just recently started selling them thru steam again…..oh and soon switchXBOX-Steam-EPIC store on one system?

Isn’t that just a pc? I see it more like a tv, or even Steamdeck. Any game can run on it, but to varying degrees of playability, or just verified for compatibility.
It would honestly be in the Xbox brands best interest to go 3rd party.
Side load with xbox kernelSo just Windows?
