Xbox One Accessories (Headphones)

Hey guys,

I know 3rd party headphone's aren't going to be available at launch, and i'm currently looking at getting a new pair.

I was wondering what is the plan with MS? Have they come out and said that 360 headsets will be compatible with the X1? I know they are busy with other launch problems, and this may not be a big issue, i'm just curious.

Current 360 headsets should work with an adapter thats due at a later date, from what im aware turtle beach are making some 3rd party ones.

Alright, i'll keep my eyes peeled for updates on this.

I'm currently looking at some Polk headphones, it seems like MS and Polk have teamed up to make some headphones and sound bars for the X1 they look very nice and if it's anything like old set of polk speakers they should sound amazing. *Fingers crossed*

oh do you mean actual headphones not headsets? in that case any pair of headphones will work as it comes through the tv....

Sorry yeah i'm talking about headphones that have the mic built into them, like turtle beach.

The X1 comes with a head set, if you didn't know already.

The plug on the new controller looks like it is just USB... Do we know if plain old USB headphones will work?
