Well, when you consider there's only 30,000 people in Ghosts, how many are in Battlefield that actually have Premium too already & online?

You can get games though, you have to check all the servers sizes then different regions. Refresh it a number of times, eventually things come up. I played earlier today Conquest Large & Rush on all the new maps.
 
this multiplayer is broken beyond my reach. Every game mode I pick turns out never the one I pick and there is no squad to get together before the game which tells me DICE cant do right.

Everyone needs to boycott any DLC until they fix this crap. I will not purchase any additional content until they fix it.

got dropped like 6 times yesterday and the server browser does not work for me.

game is so broken.

There's no Squad before the game because you're supposed to use the Game Party feature on the Xbox One, that is the Squad in a way. You go into a game together that way.

It's really MS's fault on some of that, they force developers to use the new Game Party thing. They need to go back to a simple Party Chat then have Join Session In Progress, Game Invites, more control over the party, & then developers can put back in the group together features in individual games instead.
 
This is my problems with reviews of games that heavily depend on an online component. The game should receive a 5/10 at best due to a large portion of it being unplayable at launch.
 
The only issue I have is that it crashes from time to time. Really I can play for hours on end with no problems. Game plays for me.

I find matches using server browser though.
 
So I just bought Premium and can't download any of the new maps (including the pack from the 22nd. The store option in the menu is unavailable. It gave me some battlepacks, but I can't get any map pack? Is this a known issue? I looked online and people seemed to have a different error, but I can't download at all.
 
You probably have to restart a number of times. This happened to my buddy, but it was eventually there. You just have to go to the Store inside Battlefield 4 then select "Show All" at the bottom.
 
I've heard all sorts of people having trouble actually downloading things, but for me the store is completely disabled. The menu option is greyed out and the cursor won't even allow me to select it. I've not heard of people having that exact issue.

I'm wondering if it is a port forwarding thing.
 
I played the game last night for about 1.5 hours, and surprisingly, for the first time, I did not crash!!!!
 
It sucks everyone has such issues with this game. Its a good game and I can say the only issues I have had is playing conquest. I also always choose "quick match" or whatever it is rather than browse the servers.
 
Quick match does not work for anything other than TDM most of the time. If you use the server browser, you can often get in to other game types. When I go quick match, it just drops me in TDM no matter what I pick.
 
The server browser seems broken for me... i often dont see any occupied servers, but can join a quickmatch without much difficulty. i have had better luck browsing servers via battlelog and joining from there, though...
 
Well, I finally got into the store. The only way to get in for me is to play a multiplayer game then it works. I'm still trying to download the second assault DLC. More than a little frustrating.
 
Dawnbreaker is kicking me out to the Home screen now. I never had problems with that map before. Weird how new issues can come up & old ones go away. I guess it's EA's sh*tty servers attacking again & the rushed out coding of the game.
 
They stopped giving refunds for Premium, but my buddy called last night, talked to a supervisor & they gave him his $50 back for Premium & let him keep it. It was working just fine for him he just wanted $50 back. lol.
 
This game is great it they just really need to fix their servers. Thats whats really killing this game for me
 
Downloaded second assault last night. Spent 90 mins trying to get a game. Gave up and went back to dead rising.

Its hard to recommend getting this game to be honest. While the game itself is excellent, there are serious issues with it. Its very aggravating when you are constantly dropped from games and party chat refuses to work.
 
It was difficult in the beginning but now I am able to get in games pretty consistently.

I'd appreciate it if you can see the difference post-patch. The patch just came out.

No problem. I'll update this post on Monday as I'll be playing (or attempting to play) this game most of the weekend during my free time.
 
After downloading the patch last night, my brother and I ended up playing for about 5 hours straight. It crashed for him once on siege of shanghi and didn't crash for me at all. We had some pretty bad lag on our last match, but that might have just been our internet connection. Looks like they got rid of most of the major problems with the patch.
 
Played for a few hours last night without a single disconnection, the new patch seems to have improved things substantially.
 
I played for 2 hours last night without a crash. I was also able to choose a game from the server search without having to click on it a thousand times.
On s side note I tried hardcore lastnight and really enjoyed it. Tanks can actually kill infantry quickly.
