Xbox One game streaming on Windows 10 | Engadget

This is awesome and one feature of win 10 i really am looking forward to. Will be nice to stream my x1 games to my surface pro 2. I do hope they can update it to allow you to use netflix or tv while streaming though but so far everything looks like it will be a cool feature.

Does this work the other way? I mean can you stream PC games to the One? If not I don't see the point.

Why would you wanna run a weaker gaming format(XBO) on a more powerful format(Gaming PC)

Running PC games through XBO be more impressive.
Nobody will care about this in its current state. MS continues to be outa touch.

Me,my experience and highly critical but tasteful opinions/insight on gaming would be a great assets to helping the struggling XB division.

Negative. Your experience and highly critical but tasteful opinion/insight on gaming barely makes a blip on the forums. Even your name on my smartphone is blotted out like some swear word. lol

Until they can have the Xbox continue to use standard TV along with this feature, it's kind of weird. Straight up screen mirroring isn't really all that great, considering you are still tying up the TV. This feature would be a lot more interesting if that wasn't the case.

When I can stream my games to my laptop from the bathroom while on the throne, I'll be pleased. We have more than one TV in the house so its right up my alley.

I would worry more about why you are on the toilet with your laptop 1st.
That's easy. I've got a place just for my laptop in the bathroom, in case I want to watch Netflix, porn, inspector gadget, etc. No better place to truly enjoy the miracle of technology my friend. No better place....

hm being you need a device that runs 10 it would be cheaper to just get a new One for each room.

Good for when the family is making use of the living room and I want to play an Xbox One exclusive.

i hope it works, my fear is that this will be something else for MS to balls up.

at the mo i'm on a pc (in another room 40ft or so away from xbox) while wor lass is using the tv, be fantastic to have this work

Last time I checked, there are a good number of exclusives (Halo, Forza) and multiplats (EA Sports games) that don't release on PC. Playing with XB1 friends while someone uses the TV is also a logical reason for someone to use this.

Why would you do that?
Why wouldn't you? Streaming from Xbox to PC is what you should be asking that question about.

Agreed. This is a dumb feature that no one asked for.

That's a shame. If only it worked on the millions of PC's that aren't gaming PC's. Oh yes that's right it does. You try to hard.
