WTF? Windows 10 isn't even out yet. We are talking about a feature for X1. I imagine the people WITH Windows 10 will be pretty massive, given it's a free upgrade for anyone with windows 7 and 8. No one is saying it's going to be some landmark feature either. Just one more capability. This offends some people for some reason.

I get you are hyper critical because it's an xbox thing, but good god dude, you should quit obsessing. It's not healthy. If you don't care about it, quit going to a thread about it. Hell, is there a reason you need to keep going on and on ad nausium ?

Yaw keep quoting me back into the thread is why I am here LOL.
I critic the decision to not be able to play PC games on the Xbox One or Xbox one games on the PC WITHOUT owning a Xbox One.
I think those 2 things are possible and would be huge.

Considering that Win 10 is a free update for anyone that has win 7 or 8, not to mention all new PCs sold will have it, a big chunk of gamers will have both once it is released. I would even wager that more than 50% of all Xbox one owners will have win10 in less than a year from its release.

Just my opinion though

I was thinking I was being conservative. Don't you think that more than half the people who own an Xbox have PC with a newer than the XP operating system? Admittedly I could be way off; there are alot of mac people out there
 
I dunno, only about 90% of the people that use computers in the entire world use Windows. So odds are pretty stacked Xbox One owners wouldn't use it.

Steam stats show over 90% of their gamers would be in line for a free Win 10 upgrade.

No I think its much smaller.
Lets add how many are aware of the free Windows 10 upgrade/get chosen (im still waiting) and have the hardware.

That is an unknown variable that nobody will know until it actually happens.
 
How many people will have both a Windows 10 device AND an Xbox One?

A HELL of a lot more people than people who own both a PS4 AND a Vita.

Haters gonna' hate... But it's a great feature, and one which was highly requested.

Windows 7 and 8x users will get messages. Lots of them.

Windows 10runs on any machine that runs Windiws 7/8x....

So yeah, it'll be a lot. Literally hundreds of millions of people will have Windows 10 devices in just a few months.

Yep. Hundreds of millions of people will have Windows 10 before the end of the calendar year. Hundreds of millions.

Any gamer with a Windows 7 or 8 machine will want it. There are just so many benefits to gamers to resist the free upgrade. It blows away Windows 8.1, and it completely destroy Windows 7 as an OS. ..

Honestly, as a long-time console gamer, I feel like Windows 10 is the first PC OS I might actually seriously use for gaming.

The Xbox App, DX12, Game bar/game DVR, close integration with my console, deep and seamless Live integration - it's finally all there... And I can even use my good ol' trusty console controller.

I love it.

They just need to hurry up and release the wireless dongle for the controller already. I use it for the most part now when I want to play games; but being tethered sucks and when I need to use wireless I have to bring the 360 controller out of retirement. And that thing just feels awkward to use now.

Using Windows 10 on my PC...granted I rarely use my PC still, I like Windows 10 ALOT. I'm finally going to put down Windows 7. 8 and 8.1 were meh for me. If I wanted a tablet UI I'd use a tablet.

Maybe PC gamers want to stream to their Xbox, not the other way around.

MS should make their own Steam-like storefront like Origin, Uplay, GOG Galaxy, etc. and put Halo, Forza, etc. on it to compete with Steam.
 
Still looking forward to this feature, cant wait to have windows 10 on my pro 2 to stream my x1 games to it. also i am sure they will get the streaming from pc to x1 working good.

The Game DVR is interesting, but I really hope they change it away from having to press 3 keys to activate the recording function. It also needs Cortana integration - I want to be able to say "start recording" or even "record that" like I can on my xbox ... when I'm in the middle of a game I don't want to have to press extra keys just to record. Also I'm not getting any audio on my recordings right now
