This also prove that MS did their homework. This device truly a unique console. Kinect, HDMI in, skype., and others.
While the other you have to switch HDMI with a remote, Xbox one intergrate the two never leaving your online while watching or doing other things.
No it didn't. You still need a cable box. You still need cable. Kinect voice commands don't work well enough. It's quicker to just turn on the Tv than boot up your Xbox. The picture isn't as good IMO either. Hitting the 'source' button on the remote is easier than snapping. Not to mention Microsoft shut down it's entire TV entertainment division.Few people bought the Xbox for it's entertainment integration features and few care now. It truly did. I don't watch regular TV the same way anymore. I tried the kinect controls at a buddies house and my god, I felt like a chump caveman using that remote! The future is in the X baby!

Speak for yourself. The Xbox One has made TV not only more enjoyable to watch but much easier for me. Just the voice commands alone are great. We already know your agenda though Mr. T. Bash anything and everything Xbox. So just save the banter. People like you can never be pleased.
I totally agree. it works great for me as well. maybe he doesn't know about the double tap home button on the controller to instantly snap without using any voice commands? If you have Verizon FiOS and use the FiOS app you don't even need a cable box.

Get over yourself. Just because I don't act like everything Microsoft comes up with, whether good or bad, is God's greatest gift to mankind, doesn't mean I have an agenda or am a PS4 fanboy. Your act is getting tired. First you make a ridiculous post about [insert] Xbox related item being the best thing ever. When someone disagrees, you accuse them of having an 'agenda' or being a PS4 fanboy. I guess Phil Spencer has an anti-Xbox agenda too, because he has made some not so subtle jabs at Microsoft's early Kinect and TV integration strategy.
I even made a remark at the end of my post commenting how Phil has turned the division around.
I am not a fanboy for the 300th time. I own both consoles. I've purchased every Xbox console at launch. I probably own more Xbox games then 95% of the people here. 70% of my next gen games are Xbox games. I just bought Sunset Overdrive and really liked it and think Phil Spencer has MS headed in the right direction.

I dont care about what people say about TD BANK and the xbox one. I can never go back to any system that doesnt have the same functionally as the X1.
Hell people who dont have kinect get it anyway. My store is all sold out. I had to replace a kinect for a customer and it was sold out almost every bestbuy store on the east coast.

Owning both consoles doesn't exclude anyone from being a "fanboy". It simply means you own both consoles. Presenting it as a counter argument to someone calling you a fanboy means absolutely nothing. It is a similar concept to someone stating that they can't be racist because they belong to a minority. That's stupid.
And I never claimed that owning both consoles alone excludes me from being a fanboy. Flynn owned both consoles too at one point, so does TD, as do some PS4 fanboys here. Hence why I provided the rest of the information about me getting all Xbox consoles at launch, spending most of my time playing Xbox games, being a fan of Microsoft's first party, and owning tons and tons of Xbox games.
I don't get why you chose to disregard the rest of my post where I provide the rest of my examples of why I'm not a Sony fanboy/anti-Xbox.

I wanna use it for media more but other formats have it beat oh and its hdmi black issues don't help with its pq nor does the lack of digital surround with some of its streaming services. (Last time I checked)

I agree that it didn't change the way we watch TV, but for me this simply is not true. The commands work probably 98% of time.
The X1/Kinetic did change how I use my TV though.
I guess your guys are right. Time to shut this down X1 should of never get any recognition for any thing.
They'll never get it. If i'm a fanboy of anything and was to go to war if the console wars were real i'd be on Nintendo's front lines. If they released a console as powerful as the X1/PS4 and had an online network worth talking about i probably wouldn't even own an Xbox or PlayStation.

This has got to be one of the dumbest arguments I've had on these forums. You have no point. I am not tripping over anything 'bro'. Just stop while you are behind.
In response to TD's post accusing me of being a PS fanboy and having an agenda against the Xbox, I listed several reasons why his accusations were false. I don't understand why you are so fixated on one of my points about owning both consoles and continue to keep isolating this from the rest of my post/counterpoints. Yes, owning both consoles alone doesn't not make you a fanboy necessarily, however it does usually mean that you have an open mind toward the other console manufacturers and see their product worthy of your hard earned money. And when presented with the several other points in my argument, it is valid.
I don't understand how this is so hard for you to comprehend.
What you are doing is the equivalent of reading the first sentence of a game review, seeing that the reviewer said game X had great sound design, skipping down to the score to see game X got an overall score of 9.5/10, then jumping on the reviewer in the comments section for giving game X such a high score for sound design. You can't just ignore the rest of the review and the rest of his points. Alone, great sound design doesn't make a game good, but along with great gameplay, characters, plot, graphics, mechanics, etc, it can be a factor in a game being great.
