Xbox wins an Emmy!

I think we can safely say Xbox One is the PS3 of this generation. It's even winning the same awards as PS3.

This has got to be one of the dumbest arguments I've had on these forums. You have no point. I am not tripping over anything 'bro'. Just stop while you are behind.

In response to TD's post accusing me of being a PS fanboy and having an agenda against the Xbox, I listed several reasons why his accusations were false. I don't understand why you are so fixated on one of my points about owning both consoles and continue to keep isolating this from the rest of my post/counterpoints. Yes, owning both consoles alone doesn't not make you a fanboy necessarily, however it does usually mean that you have an open mind toward the other console manufacturers and see their product worthy of your hard earned money. And when presented with the several other points in my argument, it is valid.

I don't understand how this is so hard for you to comprehend.

What you are doing is the equivalent of reading the first sentence of a game review, seeing that the reviewer said game X had great sound design, skipping down to the score to see game X got an overall score of 9.5/10, then jumping on the reviewer in the comments section for giving game X such a high score for sound design. You can't just ignore the rest of the review and the rest of his points. Alone, great sound design doesn't make a game good, but along with great gameplay, characters, plot, graphics, mechanics, etc, it can be a factor in a game being great.

Awww....little buddy is so defensive now. I have no issue comprehending anything; that seems to be your issue. I'll break it down for you, so try to follow:

An invalid argument will always be an invalid argument. You can sandwich it all you want between additional content, but it will still be an invalid argument. Two plus two does not equal three no matter how much I surround it by the reasons I think four is great.

First, I don't read entertainment reviews; I'm extremely adept at knowing what I like without someone else's subjective opinion on the matter. Second, did I ever dismiss the rest of the content of your posts? No, I didn't. Have I called you a fanboy or argued against you saying you are not one. No, I haven't. I merely pointed out one ridiculous point that did not support what you were trying to say and you got defensive and assumed the rest.

Finally, "one of the dumbest arguments you've had"? Please. You've had plenty of arguments that have approached the point of killing brain cells here. I've been around to see them. This one doesn't even come close.

But it's not an invalid argument at all. As I explained in my previous post, which you seemed to ignore, if someone is willing to buy both consoles, it shows they have more of an open mind towards each company and see both console products worthy of their money as opposed to someone who refuses to buy an Xbox or PS because it 'sux'.

Get over yourself, it's called an example.

No, you didn't. And I never accused you of calling me a fanboy, did I? But you keep isolating that one sentence in my post and calling it ridiculous. Even though it's not ridiculous, especially when used in context with my other points, as I've now explained several times now.

Finally, "one of the dumbest arguments you've had"? Please. You've had plenty of arguments that have approached the point of killing brain cells here. I've been around to see them. This one doesn't even come close.

You're right. I forgot the argument I had last week with you in the Halo thread. Where I continued to provide proof, including video proof, of the Halo 5 BR being a 4-shot kill, despite you arguing (wrongly) to the contrary. Not to mention it was completely obvious to anybody that has played the game for more than 5 minutes.

That was pretty painful.

Usual suspects flock to a good news article about X1 like a moth to a flame. Typical, s*** is typical.
I agree. Sometimes I wonder did Microsoft wrong these individuals in another life or something? If that's the case then I would completely understand.

Pointing out one aspect of your post does not equate to ignoring the rest of it. Especially when I'm speaking to the one statement, not the full body of the post. Your argument was fine, it didn't need the two console assertion anyways. I'm allowed to comment how I feel to comment dude. Simply owning both consoles in and of itself does not make a person any more open-minded than the next guy. Most likely it is an issue of money, hell I'd own all of them if I could afford it because I'm a gamer. Simple as that.

Get over yourself, it's called an example.

Take your own advice.

I'm willing to bet that I've played it a hell of a lot more than you, but that is beside the point. After playing again that night, I responded to you and admitted my mistake regarding the issue. Yet you have conveniently overlooked that one even to the point of bringing it up here in a non-related thread. Now who's ignoring and omitting things. I guess it just goes to show how petty and childish you can be.

I'm okay with that comparison. The PS3 had great games it just needed an online network and a controller that didn't suck. Check and check for the Xbox One. What was Sony's slogan again last gen? The PS3 only does everything? The X1 only does everything and better. PS4's slogan is Greatness Awaits? We already got it.

Give me a break. I made like 10 posts in defense of the Xbox in the 'Xbox Comeback' thread a couple of pages back. And read my second post in this thread.

You can still like the Xbox without blindly agreeing with and loving everything about it, especially the more controversial and features such as directing system resources towards TV integration, Kinect, and DRM. Microsoft even realized these things were a negative for the brand and went on to marginalized/minimize these things.

Some of you have trouble understanding this and accepting the fact that people can have differing opinions than yourselves without being Xbox/Microsoft haters.

X1 TV features one of the most useless things I've ever seen! I want my DVR going straight through my TV not through another another device. It takes how long to switch inputs? 5 seconds? Damn it takes my X1 like 40 seconds to boot!!

Thanks for sharing. Of course I cant agree with this comment. I like the fact that I can switch to any form of media I want ( including games) through the same device with my voice. Sorry it isnt working out for you though...

So you just sit there talking to your Xbox all day. I cringe every time I have to. Whatever floats your boat though. I personally think their time and energy could have been spent on better things. I'm a TV fan and this didn't help me one bit. If they could get rid of the receiver then I would be interested. Harmony remotes are still where it's at!
