You can apparently use Astro A40s with PS4

I watched him stream last night, very friendly guy. He answers your questions as soon as you post them on the stream.
 
Not only Astros, but other gaming headsets as well as headphones. PS4 has 3.5mm jack.

I'm going to use the Turtle Beach headsets we got, mine is still kicking. Now I just need to split the digital audio from the PS4 and Xbox 360 to the headset. Need an optical switch.
