There are some pretty good indie games on the 360, my favs include:

Biology Battle: a twin stick shooter in the vein of Geo Wars, but set inside the human body. Cool power up, great graphics/challenge and a surprising amount of polish for an indie game.

Undead Empire: another twin shooter, with cool 8-bit style graphics and online co-op, a must for the game. Missing a but of polish and there are a few noticeable bugs, but still a really enjoyable co-op game. The sequel UE: Hellfire is good too, but really short and not much improved from the first.

Beat Hazard: another twin sticker, with some cool graphics and a neat twist, you can use your installed playlists to "create the difficulty" of the levels. It plays to the beat/speed/intensity of the music, play something slow and mellow and the game is pretty easy, I played a bit w/some older Sepultura and it was crazy. This game will prolly induce seizures in some people with all the flashing effects and what-not. A cool game, even crazier in co-op.

Weapon of Choice: pretty cool Contra style side scrolling shooter. Crazy graphics and effects and multiple characters that all have different weapons and abilities. I can't remember if it has local co-op or not.

Definitely worth checking out.

Arcadecraft is the only indie game, beside Zenhak, that I have bought. Arcadecraft was good for the price.

I like the fact that most of the games are only a buck, at least if its a total turd your not out to much.

My favorite indie (insofar as they were on the indie section of the xbox market place) games are zeboyds Penny Arcade games. I guess everything made by the behemoth if those count. I'm rusty on the 100% definition of "indie."

I Played a Game With Zombies is still a favorite of mine. Nuclear Wasteland and the $1 Zombie Game are fun little shooters too. Breath of Death VII and Call of Cthulu were good as well.

If you like Biology Battle, then you should check out another "Geometry Wars-alike" game called Echoes. Very good game too.

It's a more well known indie game, but I really loved Trine 2. In co-op it was a lot of fun trying to figure stuff out and going for all the secrets.

Though Blow is a tool, I really did enjoy Braid quite a bit.

For twin stick shooter fans, look for Grid Space Shooter on XBLIG. Best $1 you'll ever spend. Much better than Geo Wars.

Analogue: A Hate Story is a brilliant one. Short and simple, but brilliant.

SCP Contrainment Breach. It's a GREAT horror survival game. Basically, you are a death row inmate who has been given the chance for complete amnesty of your crimes under strict terms of your cooperation to take part in various testing and procedures for the SCP Foundation, but all Hell breaks loose when a mass breakout of various supernatural horrors inside the facility. Good luck livin' yo!

I've been playing a lot of Starbound lately. Even in its early stages I'm having a blast with it.
