I watched the game because I didn't have anything to do. Was a decent game, but I know why I don't like soccer: all of the players are babies. Seriously, every time they even get close to getting touched they flop all over the place and act like thy're hurt. It's embarrassing to watch.
 
Messi did nothing, And his whole team didn't turn up for the last 20 min.

Yeah, there are some serious pre madonnas alright. The French, Dutch and Italians are particularly bad at it.

They were playing for penalties at that stage. I think Argentina went to penalties in the three knock out matches they played. It would have sucked if they won the world cup that way.
 
...And I suddenly just remembered that I rang all my german friends last night and played Rammstien down the phone to them. Seemed like the thing to do at the time.

I don't follow soccer, but every time I see Messi he looks: one part no personality, one part psychotic, one part boring, one part not interested. I'm surprised he's so good at soccer..... well, except this last game which he did absolutely zilch.

He's not so good.

He's better than that.

If you watch him for Barcelona he's basically just a series of amazing goals. Literally every time I watch Barcelona play he's having an awesome game and scoring some of the best goals you could wish to see.

The problem he's had is that he's been marked out of the games. 2 and 3 men on him every time he gets the ball. If the Argentinians were any good they'd have taken advantage of that because it meant the rest of them had more space. But then they aren't really very good and apparently had no plan b whatsoever. It's a shame for Messi because without a world cup people will always question his greatness. With a world cup he would have been top 3 of all time no questions asked.

Meh. I just like him because he's so good to watch..except in the world cup. Lol.
 
Ok, Messi can be football God for all I care End of the day, its 4 stars on my next Jersey. :grin:.
