Yeah absolutely amazing!
To be up front, I read the books between last season and this one because I got so caught up in it. So I knew what was going to happen.
Seriously huge kudos to the people behind the TV version of this, they're doing an incredible job of sticking to the novel, but changing little things here and there that don't affect the eventual outcome but play out better on film.
That fight was beautiful, and don't feel bad for Prince Oberyn he got what he wanted. He wanted the Mountain to admit he raped and murdered his relative and you know that fight will be legend for hundreds of years that Price Oberyn though he was horrifically defeated he got what he came for, he just didn't leave after haha.
Wow, I've never even thought of something quite that violent as a huge man exploding anothers head like that. Totally sick but totally possible. It didn't come across quite that nasty in the books and that's the kind of thing that's making this show so incredible!

Same here, he was a really interesting character too and a lot more could have been done with him IMO but I guess if that's how it was done in the source material it'd be hard to keep him around without changing a lot of other things. The part was well written and the actor did a great job too so it makes it even harder to see him go IMO.
Yeah, a lot would change. Plus, we would lose the inevitable Hound v Mountain fight, in which Arya reigns supreme

That is not enough. They are comments that can be seen as fulfilled by other characters. The second is for reek and the third for Oberyn. However, the fact you have read the books make me feel as though you just ruined the show

Ha! But no I haven't. Just a reminder that this story has no fear in killing off main/favourite characters at any time as this season showed with Joffrey being killed two episodes in and The Viper in episode 8 rather than 9.
Feels more like season one which has several die throughout the season.

Its good that shes becoming interesting for a change. She had a couple moments where she sort of stood up to Joffrey but on the whole she was another Danny without the Dragons.
The second one was just messing about, hence the weird gif.
The first one just seemed like a book reader confirming coming events with quotes from the show. I feel that way about all comments towards specific events/actions though. Is all good, I know Wolf King would not spoil it on purpose.

Damn, thank goodness I usually don't read the GoT threads before the episode. Shocking end to say the least. Should be an interesting season finale that's almost around the corner. The series really sucks you in and now I have to get my epic fantasy TV show from somewhere else now that Vikings and GoT are gonna be filming new seasons.
